My brother combined his curry legends recipes to cook up an Indian feast of chicken Tikka Masala, lamb Tikka Madras, saag aloo and homemade naan breads. The blends are made from 18 different individual spices that are all important in Indian cooking, but when blended like this are really convenient to use, and also make it possible to create an infinitely greater range of authentic flavours than you'd be able to achieve with just curry powder and garam masala.Having a blender / nutri bullet will make life even easier for some of the recipes, but it’s got everything from classics right through to sides and breads.

Got the book How to be a Curry Legend as a thank you gift and made the prawn Dhansak with Jeera rice and chilli garlic chutney straight away - the smells emanating even just from opening the spice tins was amazing and the food was absolutely delicious!The first spice is the Haldi Blend, this adds colour and flavour and is used as the base for lots of the dishes. I was sent this Curry Tin/Kit as a present and it's perfect - The book is great, it has delicious and straightforward recipes, the spices smell wonderful, the jars look lovely on a shelf and the kit is in a very pretty tin, ideal on every front. My teenage son and I managed to make the best curry I’ve ever had using the recipes and the spices with this book, it’s that good.
