It was Thomas Dakin who in fact set the business up but he later sold it on to Greenalls in 1860 who have retained the distillery ever since only moving address the once but still within its home town, Warrington.

Renowned Master Distiller, Joanne Moore, is the current custodian of a secret recipe which was first created in 1761 by Thomas Dakin, the forefather of London Dry Gin, and the heritage of whom is carefully retained to this day by a dedicated team who continue both to weigh the finest botanicals and load the copper stills entirely by hand.Palate: Dried fruit sweetness, with a touch of almond to it, followed by earthy juniper and black pepper. The launch of Greenall’s Black Cherry will add a fourth eye catching SKU to the colourful range thanks to its bold purple bottle, helping to drive further stand out on shelf.
