So to calculate a velocity at the muzzle, it's got to take the velocity at x yards and use a calculation to figure out what it would have been doing at the muzzle. The radar does not calculate what the pellet is doing at the muzzle as, unless there is some way of telling it where the muzzle is, it does not know where it is. Ultrastu, surely if it measures velocity when the pellet is at 1 metre from muzzle , the device could be factory calibrated to the true speed at the muzzle.
