With a powerful 140W motor, the nylon brush is perfect for light vegetation and the steel brush is ideal for use on tougher debris, removing all your weeds without toxic chemicals and pesticides that may harm the environment. The brushes wear away faster than I expected but on this occasion I have admit that the area being cleaned up had been neglected .

Karcher’s design is slightly different as it uses a larger, horizontally mounted nylon brush head with a diameter of 180mm, although this is also a part that is designed to be replaced when it wears out. Comfortable to hold and easy to use, simply push along the edges, cracks and joints of paving or paths and the high-speed nylon or steel wire brush supplied will get into the smallest of crevices, removing debris in an instant.This handy sweeper tackles them all with ease; putting an end to back-breaking stooping and bending. This can certainly be effective at dealing with the problem, but the idea of regularly spraying herbicide around your living space is not one that appeals to everyone. There are of course plenty of other solutions available if you don’t want to splash out on a brand new power tool – if you’re more than happy to do a bit of scrubbing and scraping by hand then people have relied on patio brushes, patio brooms and patio knives to get the job done for years, and these can be picked up pretty cheaply too.

A comfortable working posture is assured by an adjustable telescopic shaft and a guide wheel which means the tool is simply rolled over the work area.

The weed sweeper is easy to clean too, simply wipe with a damp cloth and some soft soap after every use to prolong the life of this great garden gadget.

It’s safe to assume that over time we’ll see more products coming out that do the same job, as well as other tools which fulfil a similar role – for example the Einhell Picobella which is available now and is also part of the Power X-Change battery platform.

Fabulous patio cleaner 400w so plenty of power, have cleaned my double block drive way and used one complete wire brush and just stated a second which is what i expexted, i highly recomend and glad I went for a mains one rather than rechargable. excellent little tool oh how i wish I had discovered this little strong tool before i had been trying to remove weeds from paving stone by hand .
