We get more witty dialogue and back-and-forth banter between friends, as well as more shenanigans, which is a great way to lighten things up.Seeing the ones holding them up cave in haha and realize what they had and not wanting to lose it, or having the courage to put themselves back out there after everything. I thought the story would head in one direction, only to hear Sheridan’s laughter in my head, and the story to go the opposite way. We have a lot of drama and secrets in this story, but we finally answers and a satisfying conclusion, and a bit more of the darker more recent Sheridan edge. There were several plot twist I did not see coming, and other previous plot twist we finally get the answers to!

Finally, as with every final book, there were a ton of loose ends that needed to be tied up and even by the halfway point I was questioning how it was gonna happen because we still had so much left! Wow, Sheridan Anne does not hold back and delivers an exciting and action packed ending to her amazing “Bradford Bastard” series. I’ve grown to attached to these characters that I couldn’t give this final installment anything less than 5 stars.
