I think it's a great and rare take on a floral cologne for men and it should be approached with an open mind. So it could benefit from more citrus and earthiness, especially more moss, and if I got all my Christmas wishes they'd swap the violet for iris.

It's violet and powdery and a little sweet and floral but there is an earthiness to it that personally stops me loving it. I’m curious whether they meant to take it in that direction, or if it just sort of turned out that way, but either way it smells awesome.

Forms an intimate scent bubble if sprayed on clothes but it doesnt stick to it till the next day, unless you spray multiple times on a single spot and go for a scent hunt sticking you nose to it. It opens with this strong tangerine/pink pepper combo that gives off nearly a completely opposite vibe than what I was expecting, which was a dark, smooth, mature fragrance intended for night wear. It seems almost prophetic that the commercial pictures of the bottle are more of a dark blue colouring rather than black, but perhaps the marketing department did this deliberately after they smelled it, as this is a fragrance as blue as they come.
