The Pioneer, for instance, is larger than the Victorinox Cadet and the knife has an awl instead of a nail file.Although it's substantial, but not too big or heavy, I find it more comfortable with the attached clip purchased separately. Can't add much to the published spec or to what is already known about Victorinox fit and finish or that, of course, it is sharp out of the box. Its not a major concern because of the out standing warranty from Victorinox, but it is i hope not the start of yet another famous brand going down hill ? The different extra tool that each provides means that each is best suited to very different environments.
