About this deal

Admittedly, Miles Morales was introduced into the comics around the time I stopped avidly reading the Big Two, so I’m only vaguely familiar with his character; and if anything…. Language(s): 4K UHD: English, 4K UHD/Blu-ray: Danish, Dutch, Norwegian, Swedish, Blu-ray: English|Hard of Hearing Subtitles: English|Subtitles: 4K, Danish, Estonian, Finnish, Latvian, Lithuanian, Swedish|Interactive Menu|Screen ratio 1:2.

An emotional rollercoaster that draws you in and takes you to on a ride you won’t forget – if only it had some sort of conclusion rather than stopping mid-sentence to be continued in part 3.Number 42 is the answer to the meaning of life, the universe and everything, at least according to the The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. The audio experience in the first film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse was one of the best we’ve heard in recent years, so like the movie itself we we expected high quality in ‘Across the Spider-Verse” both in the theaters and at home.

The 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray release of ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ features a full 2160p Ultra High Definition presentation with Dolby Vision and HDR-10, presented in its original 2. Thereby in writing the characters from this standpoint, there is a huge emotional hook, one of understanding - and one of justice; so, when it comes to choosing one over many, it is easy, and the audience is on board. The colour pallet is myriad, depending on the scene, or the mood within the scene, and the hues shimmer; during the actions set pieces (especially the escape) they are eye wateringly intense, or completely natural, depending on the need of the scene. Screen Media will release Eastwood Allen and Chris Griffiths’ Robodoc: The Creation of Robocop on Blu-ray on 10/17. The film seamlessly continues the groundbreaking narrative introduced by its predecessor (Which I enjoyed more), delivering a web-slinging, visually stunning and emotionally resonant adventure. After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn’s full-time friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters the Spider Society, a team of Spider-People charged with protecting the Multiverse’s very existence.

It shows gorgeous detail and clarity across the board and perfectly showcases its animated glory with everything from character costumes and faces, along with the numerous backgrounds and details both prominent and background shining at nearly all times; even the fast moving action sequences and darker moments look consistently pristine. Music thumps in the low-end, balanced to the rest of the action, which erupts with every explosion or heavy punch/kick/strike. The 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray release of ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ includes a nice offering of bonus content which can all be found on the included Blu-ray disc. After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence.

The low frequencies get really active in the second battle scene with the Spot, the strange Marvel villain that is covered in portals (rendered as black ink spots) to different dimensions. Joining Gwen, Miles is taken to a world populated entirely by Spider-people where the futuristic Spidey Miguel leads the massive team of heroes in various attempts to keep the multiverse balanced after the chaos from the last adventure left the multiverse fragile. This multichannel soundtrack dazzles and hits hard, providing a clean, crisp and thoroughly immersive audio presentation throughout that never falters or disappoints.

Overall, ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ is a flawless and unforgettable animated follow-up that miraculously manages to outdo its outstanding and perfect predecessor and deliver a superior sequel that embraces everything the first film accomplished so beautifully and then take it up a few notches. Gwen Stacy, also known as the amazing Spider-Woman of Earth-65, faces numerous new challenges in the sequel. Not that it’s unamusing — Spider-Punk (Daniel Kaluuya), Ben Reilly (Andy Samberg), and Pavitr Prabhakar (Karan Soni) are plenty amusing, as is arch-villain The Spot (Jason Schwartzman). It just makes you realise how the MCU and life action films do not have the teams that are as invested as the guys behind this film.
