About this deal

Yes definitely. I love the design with the bees, it’s a nice, bright bag to carry around with you. The product material is hard-wearing and would withstand everyday wear and tear. It is also simple and easy to use, no complicated instructions, just two poles and some zips! The cot part folds up easily to store and is wipe clean. My little one seemed to like it as she could see through the mesh sides so was able to see us when she was lying down. The best travel cots come with genuinely comfortable mattresses (nowhere near as lumpy as they once were) for your baby girl or baby boy to get a killer night's kip, and they double up as playpens for during the day/when you're getting ready for dinner with thanks to the high mesh sides.

Next, consider its ease of use. Are you after a traditional travel cot comprising a frame and fabric cot, or a pop-up travel cot (which might be lighter but less sturdy)? Is your travel cot compact and easy to fold away? Will it take long to assemble? The travel cots listed in this edit have all been selected for their ease of use. Changing mat included? Yes. This bag comes complete with Jem + Bea eco-changing mat which is generously sized and padded for comfort. I do think this deserves to win as I haven't seen many of these travel bags on the market. I think it’s a good price, as many normal changing bags are more expensive than this. The design of the bag makes it look very expensive and designer but it would be affordable for many mums. Key details – Features: Removable fleece changing mat; Weight: 0.4kg; Bag dimensions: 19.5 x 33 x 2cm; Washing instructions: Bag wipes clean, changing mat machine washable These days, changing bags come with all sorts of useful functions. We recommend you consider what’s necessary for you and your baby’s needs, then take a look at our list to inspire your choice. We took the advice of Mumsnetters on our forums - real parents who’ve used and rated these bags - alongside trusted online publications. Importantly, we did our own testing of some of these bags, to see how they coped in the real world. Whether you want something budget, stylish, small or all-singing-all-dancing, we hope there’s something on here for everyone.

The changing bag doesn’t open as wide as some of the others in this list, and although it can carry an awful lot of kit – in ours is a blanket, three changes of clothes, six nappies, wet wipes, a rattle, two bibs, two muslin cloths, our red book, two bottles of ready-to-feed Aptamil milk and two bottles of pre-sterilised Aptamil bottles – your items aren’t always that easy to find, even with the separate compartments. It is incredibly lightweight, though, at 590g and the different carry options are surprisingly beneficial.

The changing bags that feature in our roundup have been put through real-life testing, with every bag we recommend rated in various categories so you can make the best choice possible for your needs. As parents ourselves, we know what makes a good baby bag and the features that single out the average from the exceptional. Many modern changing bags are designed to look good while offering practical features too, so it's perfectly possible to find a changing bag you're also happy to use for other situations. In the early months and years of parenthood, you'll be using your changing bag a lot, so it makes sense to put as much consideration and money towards it as you would any other everyday bag. What to look for when choosing a changing bag This bag is so handy when you're out and about and baby needs to have a nap. Also for holidays or overnight stays, rather than taking a travel cot and a bag, this is two in one! The bag is quite big, which is good as you can carry all that you need, and it also fits onto the pram perfectly. It’s perfect for swimming too as you don't have to think about what to do with baby when you have to get changed, he can lie in the bag. Having a cot when you’re on the go is great. It’s so easy and simple to use and the design is lovely too, very unisex and my partner doesn't mind using it due to the gender neutral design. Where to find nappy changing bags and pram bags with detachable, portable changing mats (and space for muslins, bibs and toiletries), we hear you ask? Options which aren’t so ugly you’ll want to hide it under your car seat? Right here: our guide to the best baby changing bags on the market in 2023, which includes everything from the esteemed Bugaboo changing bag right through to designer baby changing bags from the likes of Gucci and Fendi. Your sartorial standing doesn't have to slip, after all. I would choose this product over similar ones on the market because whilst there are cheaper products available, they are more bulky and don't appear to have much space for changing essentials. I think this product should win a Mother & Baby award because it is a good balance between being a comfortable, convenient travel cot and a spacious changing bag.Pros: If you have a little more money to spend on an achingly-cool designer baby changing bag, you won't more quite-clearly-luxe than the Burberry logo-adorned baby changing shoulder bag. The iconic Burberry print gives the bag a classic and timeless look that will never go out of style.
