The simple tapered shape of the groundsheet fits within the footprint of the DD SuperLight Bikepacker Tarp, and takes merely seconds to set into place. Obviously I was expecting this tarp to be superlight, but when it arrived I was still pleasantly surprised at the noticeable weight difference and compactness. I will be sewing on some additional material to strengthen them so they don't run the risk of being worn through by friction with the ridgeline.I would highly recommend this product if anyone is looking to upgrade, the only downside is limited colours. And this was purchased as an upgrade, the product's packed size is about 30% of the original 3m x 3m, which is a huge bonus as it means more space in your backpack. It weighs only 460g and packs up very small making it ideal for anyone looking to cut their pack weight down to an absolute minimum. Take the Tarp S with you on a backpacking trip for convenient dry cover, during rest stops and lunch breaks - or use it as either a ground sheet or top cover for bivi camping.
So after watching the video and trying out the knots a few times at home I headed for the woods and was able to get it set up perfectly first time.

I was a bit nervous about getting a tarp, as I wasn't sure I'd be able to set it up and tension it properly.
