The goose down in the Aconcagua is Control Union certified, as meeting the Responsible Down Standard (RDS). Because the baffles are just like open tunnels that run horizontally, there is nothing to keep the down from moving in the jacket. Crafted from a water-resistant recycled polyester composition, this essential garment features a hooded neckline, a central zip fastening, a zip closed chest pocket, two zip fastened hand pockets, long sleeves, a straight hem and elasticated hems for comfort. Adorned in a solid colourway throughout, the design is elevated with an embroidered North Face logo to the chest and a counterpart to the rear and is completed with tonal quilted stitching filled with responsibly sourced down. In the shoulders and sides, there is a synthetic filler, but in the arms and body core, the jacket is filled with fluffy, lightweight, and warm goose down.
