About this deal

Yes, that’s a mouthful. for more on the Platinum Collection see the top of this article in case you skipped it. If you’re feeling especially outlandish, the Artist’s Proof version represents one of the infamous Ymgarl Genestealers, complete with the tell-tale combination of scything talons and feeder tendrils. As a blank canvas, you can paint your action figure in the colours of your Hive Fleet of choice.

Awww yes! This is awesome. An incredibly detailed sculpt. Remember just over a year or so ago when we were crying out for Plastic Sisters, and here they are now represented in cast resiny stuff and standing 7″ tall! awesome Several of the models (detailed below) come with Artists Prood variants – this essentially means it’s the same as another model but is unpainted and delivered to you in primer (colour) plain grey plastic allowing you to add your own design as you see fit. What is it about third parties and Aquilas? (the Chest Wings). Why can’t anyone get them to match the dimensions we already have? GW has the 3d Model of A Space Marine chest, just use that. This is one part of the model that puts me off. Why couldn’t they just make it the same but bigger!

This Primaris Space Marine Hellblaster is a classic matte grey figure to allow the consumer to paint and customize their figure like classic Warhammer 40k minifigures Comes unpainted to give customers the same option to paint the figure however they desire just like the iconic Warhammer 40 ,000 miniatures Interesting. Though I would have expected Dark Angels, Space Wolves, Imperial Fists or Salamanders first. Maybe the leak got the names wrong, but a big me this is;t. Warhammer McFarlane Big Mek Artists Proof This particular model doesn’t even have the grotesque grim darkyness of the new Flayed ones from Pariah NexusAs a separate line within the McFarlane ecosystem, they offer models under the branding – “Gold Label Collection”. I could regurgitate all of Mcfarlane’s mumbo-jumbo or you can just read it here. Want to learn more about painting your own figure? Learn the basics of brush care, setting up your area, thinning your paints and more with the Warhammer Community As for posing, we’ve lost some dynamicism here when compared to the Primaris model. It looks like to can pose him with a narrow or wide stance, Gaus Flayer Pointing up or down. and turn the head a bit.

It’s more like the classic GW Flayed One sculpts which were, not great… It’s a beaten up Necron with some flesh lazily hanging off the face and shoulders. He looks fairly posable too even though he has fewer points of articulation than the Bandai version McFarlane Toys – Necron Warrior The Body sculpt is identical to the model used in Series 1. Just with the hands swapped out, the skin bits added and a spikey spine. All of the surface battle damage is identical to last years model. McFarlane Necron Flayed One – Artists Proof The Left Shoulderpad features more ornamentation and is fully gold whilst featuring a campaign emblem sheild.Other than that the proportions of the marine look pretty spot on. Though the Pistol and the Chain Sword look a bit small they actually look good when he’s holding them.

The Artists’ Proof edition of the mega-armoured Ork Big Mek is the perfect opportunity for you to try your hand at painting a large-scale greenskin. Armed and equipped with the same wargear as the painted version, you can add your own creative flair to this awesome action figure to make it truly your own. Tyranid GenestealerI don’t know about you, but I feel less inspired by Necron Sculpts in general, be they 7″ or 32mm, there’s just not that much interesting detail on them. Once again, not as hulking or armour-clad as your tabletop Meganobz, but as they are a rank & file model, I’m not too fussed. they look good. My heartfelt opinion at this stage is “meh”, but again, I’m going to buy them all anyway and so are many of you. McFarlane Warhammer Figures – Wave 4 And now the Ymgarl version, which I prefer as a sculpt. Why is it different to the one above, unlike the original artists proof models that were carbon copies of the printed version? well, to make you buy more. And dammit I will!
