Alternatively, as standard, an operating tilt rod will be fastened to the front of the shutter panel, usually offset towards the center (see image). I used it for 72" windows, and then cut a third one in half (actually less than half) to cover 2 small half-circle windows, and then a 4th one for another small half-circle.
