It is important to confirm that the VetPen and the needle are working properly to ensure that the pet receives an accurate dose of insulin. To do so, measure a small dose and ensure that the insulin flows freely through the needle. To make sure the pet’s dose is injected precisely and accurately, owners need to hold down the release button until the arrow (▶) points to the start line (—) on the dose selector.
