About this deal

When the battery level is critically low and will die any minute, an audible warning tone will play every minute through a connected headset.

I'll start this round off by saying that for any game I play on a competitive, multiplayer level, I'll use the Victrix Pro BFG. The same goes for Twitch-based shooters or anything where I want an accuracy boost - games like Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2, HUNT: Showdown, Chivalry II, and fighting games like Tekken 7 and 8 (the latter in closed network tests since it hasn't fully released). Similarly, any game I'm trying to "get good" at, or learn to speedrun, I'll use the Pro BFG. I'm really keen to play Neon White in the next couple of months, and that's a game I'll almost certainly play with this gamepad. Hold the D-PAD DOWN button while simultaneously plugging in the USB-C Cable. You should see the X-Logo LED and white Function LED blinking rapidly. NOTE: It is recommended to recalibrate your Pro BFG after swapping the Left Module layout. Follow the steps in the Recalibration section. To recalibrate your controller, Power Off your controller by holding the PS Button for 5 seconds until the X-Logo LED turns off. ghz, i cant speak about battery life (its rated about 20h) but i can say, there is no additional input lag in comparison of wired, bear in mind wireless pad controllers do have minimal input lag (like wireless Playstation controllers)

Modular to the max

Full Wireless and Wired Compatibility: With the Mode Switch, players can easily swap between PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC (using X input) devices It’s an engineering marvel that’s easy to recommend for players who jump around a lot of different game genres. When you first connect your DualSense Edge to the console, you'll be walked through entire settings menus of your PS5 you had no idea even existed previously. You'll find button remapping menus, profiles, deadzone customization, and otherwise very thorough options so you can set the controller up according to your every whim. As we'll come onto, there aren't a whole lot of accessories and ways for you to customize the hardware of the DualSense Edge. Instead, Sony took a much more software-oriented approach to customization. Full Wireless & Wired Compatibility with High Quality Audio - With the Mode Switch, players can swap between PS5, PS4, and PC (using X input) devices. Immerse yourself in the highest audio quality... Advanced, professional controller for PS5™, PS4™, and PC with seamless wireless or wired connectivity, long-lasting battery life and a full arsenal of customizable options.

Once I had the controller set up and synced with the console, I decided to test out a variety of different games for any lag, unresponsiveness, or other glaringly obvious issues in comparison to the PS5 DualSense — which I am happy to say there isn't. The controller works like a dream with responsive controls that felt no different to that of the PS5 controller. I played games like Forspoken, Tekken 7, Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, and Cyberpunk 2077 — all worked perfectly. Tekken 7 was the prime candidate as that's the sort of game that this controller benefits best thanks to the many many buttons it has on offer that can be mapped however you, please. There is even a dedicated app you can get to help tweak and fine-tune everything to a T. Finely tuned, expensive, and precise, the Razer Raiju Tournament Edition is a handset designed to perform. Razer Raiju Tournament Edition review The DualSense Edge has a battery life of around six to seven hours - while that isn't official on the marketing front, it is quoted to have a somewhat shorter battery life than the regular DualSense. Over time since I reviewed it, I've used the DualSense Edge loads, and its battery life hasn't exactly gotten worse, but it was never that great to begin with. It feels ridiculous to argue that, given that the Victrix Pro BFG doesn't have the DualSense's next-generation features. But let's be real for a second - those amazing features are great, but they aren't supported by nearly enough games, and this gamepad focuses on the aspects of a controller that really matter. When testing this product out we found that it feels great to hold and the controls are extremely satisfying to use. You can feel the quality of the Nacon Revolution Unlimited just by holding it.You're shopping on a budget: If you want to save money, we would recommend buying the basic Xbox Wireless Controller instead. You get the same great ergonomic design for a much more affordable price. This round is a little harder to call - more because it comes down to your preference and what you'd use each controller for. It's hard to argue with the versatility of PDP's big friendly giant. Its modular design means you can turn its hand to any game and have a blast with it - not to mention a serious competitive edge. Both controllers are wireless and will work with the PS5, and both can be counted among the best PC controllers too. The Victrix Pro BFG has the added benefit of being compatible with a PS4 as well, which the DualSense Edge does not.

If you're a competitive gamer, such as someone who plays a lot of FPS or fighting games, then a pro controller might be worth considering despite being slightly more expensive than your standard controller. There are notable differences between pro controller, including lightweight frames and longer battery lives, which all make your gaming experience more convenient in competition. If you love to game for hours, having a PS5 controller with long battery life is essential. For our money, that’s the Victrix Pro BFG. Victrix Control Hub Customization App: Players can make their controller as unique as their playstyle with the free Victrix Control Hub The reason we still recommend PS4 controllers, besides the fact that plenty of folks still play on a PS4 these days, is that there are still lots of multiplayer games you can play on PS5 that are originally from PS4. If one of these PS4 games hasn't received a next-gen update, your best PS4 controller will work, and you'll get all the bonus features and functions that controller will give you. We've pulled together a list of the best gamepads from across the industry, and as it happens, quite a few of these are up there with the best PC controllers, despite some being a fair bit older. Some of the best PS5 controllers even support the PS4, which means our favorites list is still being continually updated.Where the DualSense Edge falls short on price, it makes up ground in its software capability. As I mentioned, there are plenty of features that officially licensed PS5 controllers don't get access to because of Sony's license agreements, but the upgraded DualSense takes things a step further.

The biggest upgrade with the DualSense Edge is in the build quality and aesthetic tweaks. It’s down to the redesigned triggers, touchpad, and slightly heavier chassis. It feels like a premium product while offering the extra functionality you should expect from a controller that’s more than double the cost of a standard DualSense. When it comes to connectivity, the PRO BFG can be connected to PlayStation 4, 5, and the PC, either via the USB cable or the 2.4 GHz dongle. The controller works great, there are no connection problems and the range is pretty decent. On wireless, the battery isn’t anything to write home about, lasting for around 15 to 20 hours which is on par with the Dual Sense. You don't play games on the go: If you don't have a need for it, there's no reason to buy yet another PlayStation accessory Both the right and left sides of the controller have control modules that can be removed in seconds with the included hex screwdriver. By default, the BFG has a traditional Xbox-style layout with a unique full-body diamond D-pad that sets up well for fighting games. To begin with, we'd say that the DualSense is one of the best ways to experience PS5 games. A lot of games, especially first-party ones, are designed with the DualSense's bespoke features in mind, so it's got to be one of the best controllers for the console out there. Besides that, we can recommend the Scuf Reflex range, and the Victrix Pro BFG as solid alternatives. We'll soon be testing more models for the PS5 specifically, but there are also a myriad of great PS4 controllers that will work on PS5 if you play a lot of last-gen games. What PS5 controllers do pros use? Nothing will snap you out of a game faster than a dying controller. Pro BFG has a boosted battery life with plenty of additional pro gaming features to boot. It’s sort of like the best of both worlds in this respect. With Victrix Pro BFG, you get an excellent battery upgrade and a bunch of professional add-ons as a bonus. Developer You like a heavier controller: The Victrix Pro BFG is pretty lightweight in the hands and isn't the chunkiest for folks that like a more substantial feel.
