About this deal

At 19 years old, college student Josie Stratton was kidnapped by a madman and held shackled for 10 months in an abandoned warehouse before she finally escaped her hellish prison.

I know I'm probably the last person you want to see right now, but I thought if I sat on your porch, you wouldn't be scared. and sometimes, thats all it takes – one person whos willing to listen to your heart, to the sound no one else has ever tried to hear. Bree Prescott a choisi la petite ville de Pelion pour trouver la paix qu'elle recherche désespérément. the things he’d say and do for Bree without even thinking about it…god he deserves the world and nothing less. Knowing that her pain won't leave her, she hopes that a fresh start will enable her to at least find some peace away from her home town and its cruel memories.

I had put off reading this book for awhile because I had heard all the hype and was worried that I'd be disappointed.

Archer’s cousin Travis appears to have Archer’s best interests at heart, but it becomes evident early on thats not the case. C'est l'histoire d'un homme silencieux qui vit avec une blessure terrible et de la femme qui va l'aider à retrouver sa voix. I'm also mad that a recluse loner who was homeschooled, rarely interacted with people his age or otherwise, and never owned a phone, suddenly knew how to text and wrote tons of LOLs of all things. It's like that film you've waited to come out on DVD before watching it, you know the one, all your friends saw at the cinema but you decided to wait until you could watch it in the comfort of your home only to be disappointed by all the preconceived hype. You do not have to read any other book before this and it has a complete resolved ending that beautifully wraps up this entire story. i don't want to spoil the book for anyone, but around the 60% mark i started feeling a little apprehensive about a certain character's behavior but then. Right from the beginning, I felt like something was missing and, at the same time, I felt like something was out of place.

The things Archer went through as a seven year old boy was horrible, he wasn’t the cause of the incident but he still got the blame on him.I really thought that this book's blurb did a perfect job of describing the story without giving too much away. i remember this book being one of my favorites and i know a 15/16 year old shouldn't have read this back then because this is kinda nsfw but wattpad made me read this okay! But, I found the parts I was really grasping onto, the ones where my stomach took flight with butterflies were all the soft, quiet moments between Archer and Bree. It is a lovely story, the characters are nice, the prose flowed but there was something missing to give it that little push for a four or five star review. I knew that I was going to enjoy, but what I didn’t know was that this book would be in my head nonstop.
