Oscar The Unicorn is a fun, whimsical story that challenges conventions. There's no sweet demure unicorn here. La edición también es una delicia. Lo que más llama la atención a simple vista es la portada. En ella vemos a Óscar comiéndose su propio nombre, en concreto la "R", pero eso no es lo único. Y es que tanto las letras como los pelos del unicornio están hechos con purpurina, lo que le da una cierta textura al tocar la portada. Las ilustraciones son muy grandes y súper coloridas, destacando más estas que el propio texto. Los colores llamativos lo dominan todo. La letra tiene también diferentes tamaños según las exigencias de cada página o parte de la historia. Este está compuesto por una o dos frases breves, por lo que realmente es importante es la ilustración. Con ella el pequeño también podrá aprender los colores, a localizar las distintas mordidas de Óscar y otras actividades similares que se puedan inventar. The illustrations, by Nikki Dyson, are bold and colourful, simple yet detailed. Almost graphic comic in style, they will capture your attention.
