This has always been my dream golf watch, more so than Garmin, but could never justify the price. Great review! As for the Greens "Heat" map, it's interesting BUT I think it's only useful on new courses. So far, all courses I have played with are known. Also, when on the green, the ball marking position and flag marking position is a nice feature to have seemingly but in reality, I don't use it. I don't need to know it's 15 feet to the pin as I can see it. May be on the super long putts like 40+ feet, I may use it to amuse myself if I sank it... The film was easy to put on. It had 2 small bubbles initially but was gone. I don't see any difference in the screen output. Still looks great in the sun or shad with the screen protection. You are wanting a watch for off-course activities: The A2 is solely for golf, with other models from brands more suited for off-course activities While you’re golfing there are numerous screens you can access via swiping, but the watch will also adjust based on where you are within the hole.So the T9, on the course or range, when yoo hit a shot. You do not need to touch or enter in anything, it just records your full swing shot and even knows when you are on the green and it will record putts.

You want a watch that offers incredible usability: The user experience is near faultless on the W12 My favorite feature from the T8 – the automatic shot-distance measurement– has carried forward to the T9. After the watch detects a swing, a small box appears in the bottom right corner that measures the shot as you walk. This is useful for knowing how far your shots are traveling, and it’s of tremendous value for finding lost balls. It will NOT show the 1st hole until you are on the tee box. I don't like this as I would like to see how the 1st hole plays if I am in the club house, at range etc but it is what it is. Perhaps, there's an option to do this but I have not figure it out yet.
