About this deal
Frankly it was such a waste. Perhaps a next book exploring the heroine’s relationship with her friend Cat needs to be written. He lives in a London mansion with holiday homes worldwide, and I rent a room in a flat-share with my best friend and mice.
Mr. Walker, my big brother’s arrogant, powerful, handsome, and completely unobtainable best friend. The "Barfarama" tag is literal...way too much vomiting. It reminded me of Knives Out where the vomiting is such a presence it should have been listed under Cast of Characters.

Holy shit this was GOOOOOOD!!! I'm bummed this author only has 2 books out at the moment but so glad to have found such a brilliant and funny author!
I knew everything happened for a reason. I just wished the reason would hurry up and make itself known.” Christina Lauren, Beautiful Bastard 2. Colleen Hoover, 1979 – Photo ofColleen Hoover
Taming Mr. Walker was a fun read. Our protagonist, Charlie, works in IT and has a massive chip on her shoulder about her career prospects. Compounding this is her brother, Tristan, and his best friend, Danny—ultra-successful businessmen™. Furthermore, Charlie is attracted to Danny and has been rejected by him in the past. Danny is washboard-abs fit, ludicrously good-looking, super-successful and eye-wateringly wealthy—basically every male love interest in these types of books ever. If it ain't broken, don't fix it and all that, but it wouldn't hurt to mix things up a little either, which, unfortunately, this book doesn't. Danny Walker, my big brother’s arrogant, powerful, handsome, and completely unobtainable best friend.
