About this deal

Invictus aqua smells so much like the original but they toned down all its aquatic and marine qualities and made it more floral. As an aquatic, Invictus Aqua is awful, as it isn't very aqueous or transparent past the first fifteen minutes, and still wears pretty heavy on skin. The 2018 version that came out right now, is incredible, compliment monster, this perfume is being underrated by others, but i disagree; it so much versatile, I am wearing it in the winter time and I gathered compliment.

An Invictus Aqua (clear blue fade bottle) just dropped at my local Douglas in the Netherlands (Jan 2018).Quality of ingredients is much improved over the last one in my opinion, but performance has been completely neutered as a result. hours, minimum, but there have been times that 24 hours have passed and I can still clearly detect the cologne without sniffing at my skin. Performance is also better with the original and that is also another reason why the original would get more love if it was released later as a flanker. At the first 10 minutes when i still smell the silage around me, i wished it would last for the rest of the day, but it wont work for my skin and just a scent of lemon and salt stays and its horrible.

IMO this version is all three of the other Invictus fragrances well blended on artistic steriods and superior quality. I feel bad for those that couldn't pick up a bottle of this before it got discontinued, mostly because of lack of reviews or due to negative ones. This has a youthful vibe to it while avoiding that candy-ish, "bubblegum" accord that's so prevalent in many scents these days. I honestly feel most Invictus flankers are redundant (barring Invictus Victory) as nothing changes much when it comes to the scent profile but I love how the bubblegummy sweetness is tonned down a bit on this with the introduction of marine notes.I've tried a lot of aquatic fragrances (one of my favourite genres) and this is one of the best I've tried. A nice light sophisticated fragrance , should you have problems with longetivity wearing this inland , try coastal areas I think that's what aquatic fragrances are made for , summer/spring I bet it will do wonders for you . It is a very alluring scent and much better than I was anticipating as I generally find the Invictus line too sweet.

Utilising underwater woods, the EDT opens with notes of Violet Wood and Marine accords before diving into a refreshing heart of Ambery Wood and Grapefruit Granite. Invictus Aqua (2016/2018) is another fragrance that snobs love to hate, and compliment-obsessed Chads love to place on a pedestal, which is perhaps why the standard trophy cup bottle carried over from Paco Rabanne Invictus (2013) is so appropriate. The strongest of these are the sea notes, keeping that fresh, watery feeling, followed by the violet giving it a powdery floral note and the ambergris giving it a warm, musky, and oceanic/salty note.

In the opening you get the grapefruit and violet with hints of aquatic notes , anchored down by the ambroxan and amberwood. Here the bubble-gum sweetness is toned down a lot and the citrus with marine notes are put into center stage (reminds me of citrus mineral water mixed with some fizzy drink). Paco rabanne invictus acqua smells just like a watered down original version, for some reason I get a fresh egg smell from the invictus acqua, I heard others had the same experience its ok I get about 5 hours and 3hours of arm length projection. Finally a perfume that was able to use ambroxan in its favor - a perfume that has ambroxan upfront, I mean.
