About this deal

Known for creating beautiful products that will grow with you and your children, Quinny pushchairs offer unique and innovative design combined with ultimate practicality, right from day one. I stand behind most what I said at the start, Pram is fantastic, however it does have a few downsides that penitential buyers want to know before they buy.

When searching for the right to stroller to buy, parents need to remember that their own comfort are just as important as the child’s.What really differentiates the Quinny strollers from other strollers in the market is really the stylish and eye-catching looks. Although the reversed deep recline position is said to be suitable for newborns, I personally would only put a baby in it after 3-4 months old because the seat is not totally flat and the design of the stroller seat is relatively open. The seat cover is made of water and dirt repellent fabric, so it’s easy to wipe off spills. It’s also easy to remove the harness pads, as well as the entire seat unit in 1 piece so that the stroller frame can be wiped clean. The shoulder pads are well-cushioned to ensure comfort, but may seem a little bulky for the smaller babies. The 2015 Moodd model now has the harness padding color coded to match the rest of the stroller.

The unique design and colour options were a favourite feature of reviewers. However most also found that this didn’t compromise the pram’s durability. In combination with the FamilyFix the CabrioFix and Pearl are a convenient solution from birth up to approx. 4 yearsThe Quinny Moodd is majestic stroller featuring a distinctive design. The chassis of the Moodd is similar to the inferior Buzz - three-wheeled and quite wide. It automatically unfolds itself thanks to the hydraulic mechanism. The front double wheel is easily maneuverable and can also be replaced with an optional axle with two single wheels, creating a Quinny Moodd 4 variation. Rear wheels are large and foam-filled. For newborns, I would highly recommend using the Quinny Tukk Foldable Carrier to transform the Moodd into a safe, warm and comfy pram that allows the baby to lie totally flat. Two easy one push release buttons removes the baby seat from any Maxi-Cosi or Quinny pram/pushchair or buggy Turning circle is small, but the rear wheels are pretty wide at 26” so it could be cumbersome if you’re in a tight space. However, this wide base is also what gives the stroller great stability. The car seat has an adjustable stay-in-car base, and can be installed onto the car using either LATCH anchors or seat belts.

An automatic unfolding function uses a gas spring. It can save you the trouble of having to fiddle around with latches or complex release mechanisms. In combination with the FamilyFix, the CabrioFix can be put into 5 comfortable positions giving the newborn optimal comfort But if none of these issues are a factor – e.g. if you live in a house, on the ground floor, drive a car with a big boot, don’t have to use public transport – it’s definitely one to consider, especially as it’s so comfortable for babies and mine loved it.The tyres are inflatable, making it really smooth to sit and and great to push. It comes with a pump which is stored in the basket. The footrest can be adjusted up and down. However, it only extends up to only 8” from the seat, which is relatively short and may not work for kids older than 2 even though the weight capacity can accommodate bigger toddlers. I’d like to have it telescope further down so that older or long-legged kids will have a more comfortable ride, without having to ride with their knees propped up or legs dangling.
