I’ve really enjoyed Stephanie Archer’s books in the past, and overall I liked this one, though it wasn’t always easy. Jamie, also stepping way out of his comfort zone, letting Pippa in and opening his life to her was such amazing character development. Pippa is an aspiring musician who travelled with her musician boyfriend who gaslit her and broke her self-confidence in her talent. plus i also want to give myself a break and not force reviews on books where i actually don’t have that much to say, because those reviews don't make me happy and most of it is just words and i'm just trying to fill out the review, but you’ll no longer be seeing me do that. I honestly think that is enough reason to convince you to read it, if you are into sports romance/want to get into this PLS PLS READ IT!I’m torn as to whether I’ll read the next one , I’m curious but not sure if it’s as long as this one. Behind the Net is a hockey romance novel set in Vancouver, Canada and features main characters Pippa and Jamie. pippa hartley is standing in my living room, playing with the dog, and i can’t breathe" AND SHE THOUGHT HE DIDNT REMEMBER HER🤭 i was giggling and kicking my feet like an idiot the whole time. Pippa and Jamie are perfect characters and I love how the two of them communicate and seem to feed off of each other. Said tension leads to lots of unspoken feelings, cute dogs, bad ex-boyfriends, and a scene involving a sex toy that will have you needing a cold shower.

A third is to come, but for now I’ll share my thoughts on whether or not this series is worth skating into. there were so many times where i had to read over some of the scenes because i couldn’t believe my eyes. looking for a quick and easy (and dirty, jesus) entry into the hockey romance craze, Behind the Net isn’t a bad way to spend an afternoon.
