The great advantage of the Eco Wedge is that replacement batteries are widely available ( ordinary 18650 rechargeable ) whereas the EVO has the same battery but has a strip of metal joining the + and - terminals with two soldered wires running from that to a 2-pin plastic push-on connection. Given that at the prices I paid, I could get 3 Eco Wedges for little more than the cost of one EVO SMD, I now wish I had.
