About this deal

Make sure there are 27 bars in the dispenser before starting, otherwise the animation for withdrawing bars will be cancelled and slow you down. Run to the south side of the dispenser to allow the bars to smelt so that you can take out 28. If the conveyor belt breaks, take out 1 bar on the way to depositing more ores. If there are 28 bars left in the dispenser you won't be able to deposit anymore. Wield ice gloves to withdraw bars and equip goldsmith gauntlets as soon as you withdraw bars. Buy from worlds until there's less than 28 ore left. You can bank more than 11,000 gold ore per hour if the Worlds are full, but 8,000–9,000 is more realistic, doing 3 inventories per World. Now from level 15 to 30 you will be smelting iron bars at the Blast Furnace. It’s very important to have the Ice gloves and Coal bag otherwise without them the bars will be created at a much slower rate. The primary use of gold bars is to create jewellery through the Crafting skill. To craft gold bars into jewellery, players must use a gold bar on a furnace with the proper mould in their inventory. If players wish to craft jewellery with gems inset, they must also have the respective cut gems.

Smithing rune platelegs, plateskirts, or 2h swords at an anvil offers decent experience, and it is also profitable. Players will need to have level 99 to be able to make these items, but Kovac's grog (starting from level 95) or Dwarven stout (starting from level 98) can be used to boost for that level. Each of these smithed items yields the same amount of experience, so players should make whatever offers the best profit. Players may also cast High Level Alchemy to increase profits, however this is only recommended if you have a lot of disposable gold. Wear goldsmith gauntlets when the experience is earned for smelting the gold ore. The experience will be earned approximately 3 seconds after adding ore to the belt for an empty dispenser. Watch for the XP to actually be granted first before swapping to ice gloves because occasionally the server can lag. If using ice gloves and goldsmith gauntlets, remember not to equip the ice gloves UNTIL the smelting process is complete and the experience drops. Doing so too early negates the gauntlets' bonus. For safety, equip the gauntlets again as soon as the bars are collected. gold ores are required to achieve level 99 from level 40 when using the goldsmith gauntlets. Training with gold bars costs -1.52 per experience when training on one of the official worlds, using goldsmith gauntlets and drinking 40 stamina potion doses per hour. Exclusively training via gold ore from level 40 to 99 would result in a loss of −19,703,355.37 after selling the created gold bars. For this training OSRS smithing guide you should repeat the following cycle, at 27 gold ore to the conveyor belt with your goldsmith gauntlets equipped, run to the side of the dispenser and wait for the experience drop.Goal bag it’s a reward purchasable item from prospector Percy’s nugget shop, costing 100 golden nuggets. The coal bag holds up to 27 pieces of coal, it is refillable and does not degrade. Coal bag is useful for both mining and smithing as it effectively doubles the amount of coal a player can carry. If short on money, making platebodies and casting High Level Alchemy on them can significantly reduce the cost per experience, at a significantly slower rate of experience per hour. Another alternative, making iron or steel darts, gives even less experience per hour but fletching the darts can be done while training agility or doing other activities involving walking, making it still relatively efficient. If money is no problem and fletching experience is obtained in different ways, smelting gold bars is the most efficient. Heroes' Quest requires 55 , 53 , 53 , 25 , 50 and a number of quests, rewards 2,257 Smithing experience

Goldsmith gauntlets are one of the three possible glove rewards from Family Crest quest, along with Chaos gauntlets and Cooking gauntlets. After the mini quest Family Pest has been completed, the player can claim the goldsmith gauntlets from Avan at any time. Though Family Crest does not reward smithing experience directly, it allows access to the goldsmith gauntlets, which yield approximately 2.5x experience when smithing gold bars. The Giants' Foundry minigame is a slower, but cheaper and more accessible alternative to Blast Furnace. You can use your own metal bars or use unwanted metal equipment for this minigame. Using better moulds applicable to the player's Smithing level and buying the Smiths' Uniform would result in a higher profit/lower loss, higher experience rate, and more reputation points. After you add the gold ore you will get 1,500 xp drop and then you can switch to your ice gloves. Withdraw the bars from the dispenser and bank them, withdraw 27 gold ores equip the goldsmith gauntlets and repeat the cycle.

Smithing dart tips offers very slow experience, but it requires very little attention. This method usually breaks even or makes a small profit due to their high demand for their use of training Fletching. The player must have completed The Tourist Trap quest to be able to smith dart tips. 10 dart tips are created per bar. Swap to ice gloves to retrieve Gold bars from the furnace. (Warning, if you do not remove the bars first and you add more ore to the conveyor belt, the XP you gain will drop substantially!)Smelting gold bars at the Blast Furnace becomes the fastest viable training method at level 40. This method costs money, and it can be fairly expensive depending on the Grand Exchange prices.
