It will be reissued as two multi-disc deluxe editions (3CD and 4LP vinyl) that offer the following content: Playing on a Rega Planar 3 2016 + TTPSU with GrooveTracer Reference sub platter, Ortofon 2M Blue, Trichord Dino Mk 3 phono stage with Dino+ PSU, PrimaLuna Evolution 100 Integrated, with Tungsol EL34s, Buchardt S300 Mk2s.years ago, on February 26, 2002, a hard-to-categorize album by an unknown 22-year-old singer, songwriter, and pianist was released with modest expectations. Released by the legendary jazz label Blue Note Records, it wasn’t a jazz album, nor did it resemble anything else on the pop landscape of 2002. But Come Away With Me, the debut album by Norah Jones, would go on to charm the world and introduce one of the greatest voices of our time. The album steadily grew into a global phenomenon, reaching #1 in 20 countries, selling nearly 30 million copies, and sweeping the 2003 GRAMMY Awards with eight wins including Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best New Artist. Processing file: [08. Norah Jones - What Am I To You (Alternate Version – The Allaire Sessions).aucdtect] Jesus, I'm just having the first playthrough now, just finished "Come Away With Me" on the first original record. I only have a 2015 European BlueNote to compare it to, but this is a really really wonderful pressing. It's Pallas, so I had high expectations, but it's the mastering mix I think that really transcends it, they've done an amazing job. The voices and mids on strings and even lower notes on the double bass are more prominent, it's not in your face in any way, it's just so beautifully balanced, and feels even more personal than my previous copy (which I still thought was pretty damn good for a standard pressing). 45 RMP Audiophile said in his review he thought this copy was more analytical than the Analogue Productions which I found interesting. It is incredibly precise but still sounds wonderfully musical. DR9 -0.14 dB -12.44 dB 4:12 02-I've Got To See You Again (Alternate Version – The Allaire Sessions) In a world of increasing disposability, cut-price bargains, and cheap imports, it’s reassuring when you find people (and organisations) that specialise in doing things properly. Getting it right. Attending to those tiresome details that others don’t have the time or inclination for.

The very same youtuber mentioned it's hard to tell the difference but there are a few differences between the two. We took a look at the vinyl box set, or Norah Jones: The Vinyl Collection, to give it its full title… All discs pressed by Quality Record PressingsThe album’s blend of jazz, blues, country, folk and pop – had an enormous appeal and Come Away With Me has, to date, sold nearly 30 million copies, and has garnered multiple awards, including eight Grammys. Norah Jones - I've Got to See You Again (Alternate Version – the Allaire Sessions).flac" WAVE I've never been a fan of Norah Jones. Just a few months ago, I reluctantly obtained AP edition of this album. Before re-selling, I played the album and found SQ amazing. So kept it under my wings.

Processing file: [05. Norah Jones - Picture In A Frame (Alternate Mix - The Allaire Sessions).aucdtect] Just getting to the demos, these belong on an album. She was so talented from the off. The entire bonus material is stellar. There is a discernable reduction in SQ on the final record of the Allaire Sessions, but it's by no means bad, just not as impressive as the first 3 records, imagine they are digital source. Lundvall loved what he heard and signed Norah as a Blue Note artist, and she began to prepare to record her debut album. “Cassandra Wilson’s New Moon Daughter had been a favorite album of mine and was a big inspiration for the kind of record I wanted to make,” Norah writes. “Since I loved the instrument choices (beautiful slide and acoustic guitars) and the production, I asked Bruce if I could meet with Craig Street, who produced it. Craig and I met a few times and got along really well. He liked the demos and said we should put those out as the record or use most of them, but I was really excited to explore a slightly different vibe, one I knew he could help me find.”You don’t have to be able to afford these things, or even desire them, to appreciate the work and artistry than has gone into making something as good as it can be. There will also be single LP and single CD editions of the album and The Demos, First Sessions EP and the Allaire Sessions have all been mixed to Dolby Atmos, although there appears to be no physical edition, so this will be for streaming-only. I assum that "analytical" feature of 20th anniversary could be the result that it may cut peak range on high and bottom. anniversary edition sounds great. especially considering the price. As one youtuber described it is more "analytical" and at the same time it is more relaxed.

Norah Jones - Something Is Calling You (First Sessions Outtake - Tabla Version).aucdtect]Now, 20 years later, Norah decided to release the Allaire version of the album. “It’s been a bit like time traveling to some alternate universe of the album that nobody ever heard,” she says. “When I approached Craig to tell him about it, he suggested we ask Tony Maserati to ‘balance’ the recordings. This brought my vocal to the front more and I can finally hear my little 22-year-old self trying new things and fitting into the music around me just fine. Re-visiting these sessions after listening to them only once in the last 20 years has been a lovely surprise. I’m so glad to finally re-unite with Craig and get a chance to finish what we started together. I learned a lot from him, and I always think of that time upstate as a sort of dreamy fantasy, and I still get that feeling when I listen to these recordings.” Featuring – Adam Levy, Adam Rogers (2), Bill Frisell, Brian Blade, Dan Rieser, Jenny Scheinman, Jesse Harris, Kenny Wollesen, Kevin Breit, Lee Alexander, Rob Burger, Sam Yahel, Tony Scherr The first thing to point out is that the box weighs a ton. It’s extremely heavy thanks to the 200gsm vinyl that all seven records have been pressed on ( Little Broken Hearts is 2xLP). To put that in some perspective, that’s weightier than each Beatles stereo vinyl LP (‘only’ 180gsm), and makes your average 1980’s vinyl feel like a flexi-disc. We loved the small details. Even the outer protective transparent bags that each record comes in, have little perforated edges at the top with tears off easily allowing you to remove the record easily, without having to take a pair or scissors or scapel to it (see video below).
