About this deal

Portable and lighweight table-top design makes it easy to store, transport and setup your FirstScope Telescope Yes, Jon's comment was technically correct and interesting. We disparage spherical mirrors- the dreaded Bird Jones - but the longer focal length does obviate its problems. Perfect reflector telescope for wide-angle, low-power viewing of the Milky Way and other deep sky objects when viewing from relatively dark skies. It Comes with an adjustable tripod that allows you to adjust the height so that even your child can have a go at it. ADJUSTABLE TRIPOD – Scalability aluminum tripod, height can be adjusted from about 16-inch to 41-inch, and it permit to use the telescope both in standing or sitting position

he telescope comes fully assembled and ready to use right out of the box. You can simply place it on a table and begin exploring outer space. The Bresser AZ 76/350 Carbon Telescope is in our opinion one of the best beginners to mid-level astronomy telescopes available. It is very lightweight and portable. You can place it anywhere using the included tripod and start using it straight away. No messing around, aligning or setting up.

National Geographic 114/900 AZ Reflector Telescope

The fully Automated GoTo Mount let’s you elect from a database of more than 40,000 stars, galaxies, nebulae, star clusters, solar system objects, and more. The NexStar 4SE features Celestron’s signature orange tube and combines the features of fantastic optics all in one system. This 70mm telescope is specifically designed for astronomy, but it can also be used for bird watching or for viewing g beautiful landscape from your balcony. The telescope has the ability to view the moon, planets, star clusters, and even deep space objects like the Orion Nebula and the Andromeda Galaxy in great detail, but you are going to need the assurance of a very dark and clear night sky. Scottish Islands - HS1-9, IV40-51, IV55-56, KA27-28, KW15-17, PA20, PA41-49, PA60-78, PH42-44, ZE1-3

The Firstscope is an ideal beginner or entry level telescope. It is quite easy to operate and observe with, allowing the user to navigate the night sky by moving the tube in the direction of their desired object. This reflecting telescope is easy to operate, even for beginners to the fascinating world of astronomy, and it collects lots of light from celestial objects. Zhumell's ota featured all plastic parts, but the tripod legs were of the two-tube variety, the yoke was of the profiled cast variety, and the mirror was a nice, smooth spheroid. This scope behaved much more consistently with Neil's observations, and ended up being a lot of fun The tripod extends taller than Orion's, too, which is nice for an adult standing observer. This is a very light setup; everything can be carried in one hand easily, and the images are razor sharp. For the price, the image can't be beat. (It takes a steady hand to focus, and fails the "rap test" badly, but it's vastly, vastly better than the Orion.) The AstroMaster 13EQ is designed to bring the moon and planets much closer to you with great detail. If you wish to return your item to Robert Dyas, you can do so by the following method: 1. The 'Dobsonian' mount means that the telescope can be placed on any convenient flat surface for instant use, straight from the box. Easily portable, take this telescope with you to different stargazing locations. High magnification also means you will see a narrow piece of the sky so unless you are watching deep space with a large commercial telescope magnification is NOT an important feature. Also, note that a magnification of a telescope can be increased or decreased by switching eyepieces. Some vendors will try to promote a low-quality telescope by stating that it has a high magnification. Beware of these types of offers! The telescope will usually have either a small aperture or a very poor optical quality.

The AstroMaster series includes some of the best dual purpose telescopes for viewing both terrestrial and astronomical objects. Great for budding stargazers, this National Geographic 76/350 Compact Telescope is a must for anyone interested in the world of astronomy. One of its best features is it’s lens, which is plated with a multi-layered green film which helps to protect your vision even when you use it for a long time.

The #1 feature of any telescope is Aperture. Aperture is the diameter of the telescope’s main optical component (consisting of either a lens or mirror). The larger the aperture is, the more light comes in the telescope and the brighter your image will be. A telescope’s function is to simply enhance the light of the moon, stars and galaxies thus allowing us to see them in the dark. With a large aperture, you will be able to see more stars and see them more clearly. When we look at the stars with our naked eye, we can only see the brightest ones. This is because our pupil acts as a very small “lens” and can only gather very little light. Is the Biggest Aperture the Best Choice for Me?
