About this deal

Milka has put focus on “tenderness” being their main advertising theme since the 1960s. [9] In 1972, the Milka cow named Lila [9] ("Lila" being German for lilac, purple, violet.) became the face of their advertising campaigns and has remained so to the current day. Milka has sponsored many alpine skiing stars since 1995, including five World and Olympic champions. [9]In 2015, Milka used a lilac-colored boat with Lila the mascot on it to tour the rivers of Germany and Austria during the summer. This boat was dubbed the “Muhboot” (pronounced Moo-boat), [9] a pun on "U-Boot" (German for submarine).

L'historique de Milka: comment est né le nom Milka". Milka.fr (in French). Archived from the original on August 19, 2014 . Retrieved 16 November 2014. The bar is wrapped in a resealable plastic film that's difficult to recycle. The front of the bar features the iconic purple cow alongside an illustration of an alpine landscape, in the Milka lilac purple tone. A Daim brand red-coloured sunrise appears in the top right corner, alongside the Daim logo. The lilac and red Milka Daim bar Ingredients: sugar, cocoa butter, skimmed milk powder, cocoa mass, hazelnut pieces (9%), whey powder (milk), milk fat, emulsifier (soy lecithin), hazelnut paste, natural flavouring. Allergens: Contains: soy, hazelnut, milk. May contain: nuts, wheat, gluten-containing grainsThe distribution of Daim chunks seems haphazard too, with some segments filled to the brim while others have barely anything inside. A closer look inside this Milka Daim chocolate bar The aroma of the bar is broadly reminiscent to that of a Daim bar. The almond caramel fragrance is in the foreground, but it's as if the sweetness has been ramped up to its maximum setting. Suchard’s Milka was brought to life in 1901. The new confectionery was given a name which combined two of its key ingredients: Milch (milk) and Kakao (cocoa). The first bar of Milka chocolate was wrapped in the famous lilac paper and decorated with a cow and the Alpine panorama. With its tender taste and distinctive look, Milka became an instant favourite. Milka can now be found in a wider range of stores across the United States and Canada. Cadbury is a premium brand that is popular in the United States. To make both chocolate bars, the same ingredients are used. Milka does not use hazelnut paste, whereas Cadbury does. Before bars loaded with Lotus Biscoff speculaas (speculoos) were the hottest trend in the chocolate world, Daim bars (or Dime bars if you're over a certain age) were the ingredient of choice.

The reverse of my bar featured a large quantity of text, translated into Polish, Lithuanian, Latvian, Estonia, and English. Clearly, this is a bar that's predominantly distributed across Baltic countries.

Reviews

A female name derived from two Slavic words:’mil’, which means ‘eager’ and ‘ka’, which means ‘gracious.’ A name similar to this could be derived from the Hebrew word’malchut’, which means ‘prince’ or the Latin word’melicula,’ which means ‘hardworking spirit’. The snap of the chocolate is soft and weak, perhaps due to the relatively high sugar content or the inclusions. Indeed, looking more closely at the bar reveals quite a gritty texture.
