But Warren has a theory about Bridgette: anyone who can hate with that much passion should also have the capability to lovewith that much passion. And he wants to be the one to test this theory. A huge relief after the last few stories; this was the perfect length, and no outside context was needed. Entirely predictable but still sweet and fun to read; I definitely enjoyed this one.

Enemies to lovers but with not enough context to make it interesting. We learn a lot about Ari and Kayden's feelings towards each other but nothing about why or what will happen. Finished off with the weirdest cliffhanger ending that doesn't explain anything. so. i think u needed to be familiar to some of the authors work to enjoy their novellas, but my dumbass didnt know that starting this so i read em all. though even when i realized it, i tried to enjoy all of the novellas too coz im not one to waste anything. but anyways I think this is a short story from an already-existing series/universe, so I did feel a little out of the loop. While it made me want to read the existing book(s), it also included a lot of spoilers, so I'm a little on the fence here. If I actually lived through something, I could probably make it more realistic when I put it into words on paper.

From Friends To This | Dominique Laura (contemporary romance) - 2 best friends that lost touch reunite for their 10th year highschool reunion; writing was ok but I didn't fall in love with the couple I think this one could be my favorite from them. At least till so far. It was sweet, hot and swoony!

After the success of last year’s Bookworm Box anthology, One More Step, the second anthology, Two More Days, is now out in the wild! Ilsa Madden-Mills is one of the authors participating in it and hers was the first story I read. Sincerely, Dane is a new short story with Dane and Piper, supporting characters from Madden-Mills’s much loved Dear Ava, which was published in February of 2020. You don’t necessarily need to read the aforementioned full-length novel, but I am happily, seriously, unequivocally recommending you do, as time permits. Pineapple | Leia Stone (paranormal contemporary) - vampire royalty and human feeder fall in love but he must marry a vampire; they have a one night stand and then he's a jerk but redeems himself at the end; didn't like it This short story was witty and romantic and had me cheering so hard for Faith who deserves to find love and happiness. Asher is totally swoony (a firefighter!) and these two develop a beautiful relationship during Faith’s three week vacation. A relationship of give and take, which is an entirely new concept for Faith. I loved, loved, loved the appearance of two favorite characters...made me so giddy to revisit them. I adored everything about this story, especially our little glimpse of Emma Scott’s adventure in Hawaii 🤣...and the fact that even this brief glimpse into Faith’s life was filled with happiness, love and peace. Sincerely, Dane is a sweet little treat that gives us more of Piper and Dane who we met in Dear Ava. They have been friends for ages and have never crossed the line to being more but a scavenger hunt during Halloween may give them the push they need to take a chance.SOMETHING WONDERFUL BY L.K.
