The rhythm and rhyme of the words had perfect meter (and I'm usually quite picky when it comes to rhyming books ;). I had the privilege to hear the author read this book out loud and the way she did it, with such lovely rhythm and cadence, made the words sing off the page.

Still, I had such a clear idea of how I wanted this book to look with only legs and feet, that I jumped at the chance.Besides the kid height view of the city, this playful celebration engages the five senses, includes diversity, and introduces children to how to say good morning and good afternoon in four languages.
