This camera is powered by Darkfighter technology providing ultra low light for superior night time images and ultra HD resolution. This camera has Acusense technology which uses a deep learning algorithm to help filter human and vehicle targets from other moving objects and reduce the number of false alarms generated. The camera is manufactured in all metal construction with an IK10 vandal resistant rating and IP66 weather resistant housing making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications with 3 axis adjustment allowing horizontal & vertical mounting options. With its vari-focal lens ranging between 2.8mm and 12mm the camera provides an excellent option for capturing a range of positions. The lens is able to provide a horizontal field of view ranging between 108° to 45.8°. This allows users to capture a narrow FOV which is not often available with the standard fixed lens options, with no compromise to the resolution.

Users can mount the DS-2CD2686G2-IZS internally or externally as the camera has been rated as water and dust resistant. Plus, with it's powerful IR supplement lighting reaching a distance of up to 60 metres it can illuminate large spaces in darkness. This camera can be powered by PoE or with a 12V DC power supply, we normally recommend PoE for ease of installation. Please note: this camera does not come with a power supply for our recommended option please see our Frequently Brought Together section above.
