As I mentioned, I do often use the Xebec Tri Screen 2 when I’m working at home on my kitchen table. If your laptop does not have any Thunderbolt 3 or USB-C with DisplayPort ports, you will need to use one USB-A to USB-C cable to supply power and one HDMI to Mini-HDMI cable to supply the video feed for each screen. So I love using the Xebec Tri Screen 2 at home. But I don’t love using it for traveling by air, especially when you only have limited space in a carry-on and limited space to work on the go. If you have an RV or campervan, or you move from office to office, you really can take it with you and set it up anywhere. Each of the two screens on the Xebec Tri Screen 2 has 3 ports. Again, I’m not very tech savvy so I don’t know too much about the different ports and connectivity options that come with the screen. They answered all my questions and helped ensure I got set up properly.

The longevity of use will depend on what laptop you use and its battery capabilities. The Tri-Screen 2 runs off the laptop’s battery. Tripling the displays massively increases power consumption. I fiddled around with them all at the start, but couldn’t figure out the best way to connect the screens. I use Citrix to log into my work desktop, and my Mac+Citrix didn’t skip a beat at handling the three screens. I fiddled with the various resolution settings to set it to a comfortably zoomed-in level, but after a few minutes, the smaller Xebec Tri-Screen 2 side screens stopped feeling tiny and felt fairly normal. You can also angle the screens slightly for a more comfortable view if you want.If you are using a USB splitter or USB-Hub try plugging the cables directly into the laptop ports instead of the hub or splitter and see if that fixes the problem. Most splitters and hubs split the power from a single USB port thus restricting the required power supply to each screen. If you’ll be using a portable monitor with your laptop computer, for the best experience, choose a monitor size that’s about the same as your laptop’s display and then position the two monitors side-by-side at the same height. If you’re using a three display portable monitor setup, or a specialty portable monitor, this suggestion does not apply. Select Start> Settings> System> Display- your screen may look different than the images in the following steps depending on which Operating System you’re using I had two more issues with the Xebec Tri-Screen 2, and while neither are dealbreakers, they’re worth noting.
