About this deal

You must have heard people complain, ‘What have I done wrong? Why is God giving me so much of pain and suffering?’ This is because they are of the belief that ‘God is the creator of this world and He is the one who runs the world. Nothing in this world happens without His wish, and therefore directly or indirectly He is the one behind all my miseries.’ A. If a person were to steal today, his action of stealing would be the visible karma. The fruit of... God questioned the man and the woman because He wanted to lead them to repentance; but He did not question the serpent because there was no mercy for him. God cursed the serpent. The curse is directed both to the actual snake and to Satan who used the snake for his evil deeds. Verse 14 applies mostly to the snake as an animal; verse 15 applies mostly to Satan. In a future study we’ll see how God provided animal skins to clothe Adam and Eve, a picture of atonement. But for now I must limit myself to verses 14 & 15, which show us two ways God graciously offers reconciliation to guilty sinners. A. God graciously offers reconciliation by defeating our adversary, the devil. Jesus prays to God and calls Lazarus to come out of the tomb. Let me read verse 42 again: “ I knew that you always hear me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here, that they may believe that you sent me." Like Jesus, know your prayers are heard. Lazarus is miraculously resurrected from the dead. Lazarus exits the tomb still wrapped in his grave linens. The power of God is revealed and God alone receives the glory. Throughout history people like us, people who believed in God turned to God with life’s most difficult questions.

God called to Adam and Genesis 3:9 NKJV - Then the Lord God called to Adam and

It is in this story that we learn the power of God over death. Jesus performs a miracle and raises Lazarus from the dead after four days. Not knowing who the real doer is, we levy accusations on God. And doing so, we only take more liabilities on our head, as we will have to pay a penalty in terms of undergoing enormous suffering for this mistake too. When God does not do anything, how can we blame Him? The way this works is, people sin and they know they’re guilty, but they rationalize by thinking, “Yes, I was wrong; I shouldn’t have yelled at my wife. But she provoked me.” It’s like a scale, where I have a pile of guilt on one side, but rather than clearing it off the scale, I balance it by piling blame on the other side. It doesn’t remove the guilt, but it makes me feel better, at least for a while. In the psalms we find the prayers of people just like you & me. And the psalms ask this exact same question.Perhaps after assuming that you have been ignored by the Creator of the universe, rather than interrogate Him, you decided it was time to demand of Him ~ to let Him know LOUDLY of your expectations.

God, Where Are You?! by John Bevere– Messenger International God, Where Are You?! by John Bevere– Messenger International

On his arrival, Jesus found that Lazarus had already been in the tomb for four days. 18 Now Bethany was less than two miles from Jerusalem, 19 and many Jews had come to Martha and Mary to comfort them in the loss of their brother. 20 When Martha heard that Jesus was coming, she went out to meet him, but Mary stayed at home. There are myriads of beliefs in which one gets entangled, and tends to jump from one to another in an attempt to get the desired result; but when he meets failure after failure, there arises in him the genuine desire to know what is really right; what are the real facts behind what he experiences. So come, let us try and get the right answer to our query – ‘God where are you, when I need you?’

So come, let us try and get the right answer to our query – ‘God where are you, when I need you?’

Do you have family members or friends dealing with something similar? My heart goes out to you, each one of you. Right now you can ask God to enter your life. You can do this through prayer. Prayer means talking honestly with God. At this moment you can call out to God by telling Him something like this in sincerity: God is not under your command. God is not a genie in a bottle waiting to grant your three wishes. In worship we declare that we love God for who He is more than for the gifts He brings. And when God seems distant the greatest thing we learn & remember is that God is not under our control. We cannot manage God. God doesn’t jump when we say, “Jump.” Oh, there You are Lord. I found You! Right there in Mom’s name. Yes, Elizabeth. God is satisfaction.

Sonny winds up homeless on the streets, until he meets Malachi Carpenter (Kibwe Dorsey). Malachi gives him a meal at the local diner and tells him that Pastor Gary (Jeremy Kaminski) nearby has a bed he can use in the church basement. Malachi gives Sonny a book, “Gratitude Renewed,” and challenges him to read it and begin writing down the things he has to be grateful for. Sonny is reluctant at first—angry with God—but begins to jot a few things down. As he opens up to Malachi, Malachi introduces him to others, including a blind man named Bobby who had a promising future in football until a drunk driver caused an accident that killed two of his friends; yet Bobby is grateful for life. Sonny learns that Bobby became an award-winning composer as well. A woman named Cindy Grey (Tanya Christiansen) gives Sonny a ride and shares her own story of tests and trials, and how her faith was renewed. And it makes me wonder, how often do we loose our way or loose our faith when God seems distant? Feeling Far from God The stone needed to be removed for the miracle and power of God to be witnessed by Martha, Mary and the crowd that had gathered. Listen, the stone could not have prevented the miracle. The power of God is greater than any obstacle, even that of a heavy stone. So I lift Mom’s name to You, Lord, to remember her. Remember Elizabeth. Elizabeth means “oath of God” or “God is satisfaction”. Satisfy her Lord with Your presence. You are the Light in the darkness, so pierce the darkness Father. Her oath to You? Her very name – Elizabeth. Allow me to encourage you to talk with Jesus about your heart. Tell him how you feel. Be open and vulnerable before him. He is loving and faithful. He cares for you.

A. You are in search of God. You want to know God. You want to know the function of God. You want to... The facts are that politics are nasty, the pandemic is relentless, that isolation is destructive and that the economy is broken. We believe He created our first parents (Genesis 1:26-27; Genesis 2:7). When we turn to the New Testament we find very clear statements about the creation in John 1:1-3; Colossians 1:16-17. These verses tell us how man was created; and the same God who created us is the One who sustains us, cares for us, watches over us and supplies our needs, and He asks, ““Where are you?””In this eye-opening book, best-selling author John Bevere equips you with key biblical insights and profound stories that will help you navigate your dry or difficult seasons and step into all that God has for you. No matter what happens in the world around you, God can be there for you. Though people do not follow God's ways, God is able to take horrible circumstances and bring about His plan anyway. God is ultimately in control over world events. If you are God's, then you can rest on the promise that, "All things work together for good for those who love God and are called according to His purpose." 29 Jesus, once more deeply moved, came to the tomb. It was a cave with a stone laid across the entrance. 39 “Take away the stone,” he said. “But, Lord,” said Martha, the sister of the dead man, “by this time there is a bad odor, for he has been there four days.”
