Though a lot of controversy surrounds the role of amyloid-beta in conditions like Alzheimer’s disease, there is no doubt that the amount of amyloid beta in the brain directly correlates with the level of dysfunction in the disease. Research shows that in addition to producing clinical cognitive effects, Cerebrolysin decreases amyloid-beta production by regulating one of its precursors[6].
