About this deal

Not the author trying to redeem Crew by having him threaten to end a girl’s life for the same terrible behavior he partakes in 🤡.

A Million Kisses In Your Lifetime - Pinterest A Million Kisses In Your Lifetime - Pinterest

chokes and threatens a guy who films girls having sex because crew was concerned/jealous that he would do the same to wren Steamy, romantic and totally addictive, this is a story that proves that true love really does happen when you least expect it . . . It’s been three years, four months, two days and a handful of hours since the first moment I set eyes on her. so instead wren focuses on her school work, covering up her rapidly developing body (as a big boobed girl myself, i related so hard to her struggles with clothing, getting leering looks and her mother looking at her body in disgust😭), until a psychology project puts her and crew on the same path. Crew literally has me on a chokehold. The way he's so arrogant (rightly so), reassuring and just so devoted to his little 'birdy' makes me want to go Crew hunting—he's a romantic despite his protests. Not to mention, his skills in bed. Ya'll- you aren't ready for him. You think you are but trust me, you're not.

WARNING: a lot of typing mistakes ahead because me, my (I had to google it) dyslexia and fast typing in anger do NOT get along. A dark and twisted bully romance full of secrets and lies… Whit Lancaster burst into my life like a storm. Dark and thunderous, furious and fierce. Cold, heartless and devastatingly beautiful, like the statues in our prep school gardens. The school with his family name on the sign. He can do no wrong here. This is his domain. Wren was cute. I liked her growth in confidence but she was a bit stupid sometimes. I liked that she added the art aspect to it but didn’t make it her whole personality. The whole thing with her being a virgin and then losing it was basically the point of this book. It’s obviously gna be repeated a lot which I was prepared for, so it didn’t really annoy me.

Lancaster Prep Series by Monica Murphy - Goodreads

I’m fuming madly with this book. 2022 is truly TRYING ME in the book department. It’s starting to make me sound like a broken record but honestly what are these books? FOR THE LOVE OF THE LORD EVERYONE I AWARE THE GODDAMN TEACHER IS A SEXUAL PREDATOR AND NO ONE DID NOTHING?!!? But let me be clear - I loved this book because of Crew Lancaster. That man… I have no words. The way he was so respectful to her (most of the time), the way he was so freakin patient - literally everything about him! I was not expecting him to be that way and I was definitely surprised in the best possible way!

Games

From the beginning all the way to the very end, this book had me hooked. I'll always be down to read the good girl x bad boy trope and this one did not miss. The thing I love most about this trope is the fact that these characters are more similar than they think. This applies to Wren and Crew as well. I love how Monica Murphy walks us through the character development between these two and that she wrote them in a way that tells us that they bring out the absolute best in each other. After leaving Lancaster Prep, Spencer Donato has had to step up into his family business. getting his hands dirty for a while he is pleased to have been moved into a behind-the-scenes role. Attending his best friend’s wedding brings him face-to-face with Sylvie again after not seeing her since she finally gave up her virginity to him before promptly marrying an older man. Their relationship over the years had been up and down, Sylvie drawing him in before pushing him away time and time again. But beyond that I wonder what is going through the authors mind… maybe she will give him a character development? I could get behind that. BRO WTH HE KNOWS! HE IS POWERFUL HE OWNS THE SCHOOL AND HE ALLOWS THIS PERVE TO CONTINUE WORKING THERE!

A Million Kisses In Your Lifetime: The steamy and utterly A Million Kisses In Your Lifetime: The steamy and utterly

I adore the bad boy trope, but Crew was not a bad boy… he was a worm. Actually, not even that because worms are very integral to the ecosystem serving a purpose on ground renewal and nutrients. Crew cannot even attest to being as useful as that. There was the whole situation with Wren who was was smart enough to read all the red flags from her teacher, to see that her “friend” was clearly involved with him to simply not do ANYTHING?! The goody two shoes who would was outspoken about misdeeds? Give me a break!

Toys

And the thing with the dad was so annoying. I’m glad the author didn’t make the mum the villain as well, I liked her redemption arc. Return to the glittering Lancaster world with the story of a damaged woman who gets her chance to redeem herself with the one man who’s been in love with her forever… I genuinely thought I would hate this because of the way the first book turned out and Taz repeatedly telling me this book is shit💀 but I’m so glad I enjoyed this one.

Tis the season and things are a little stressful for our fave couple. There’s a lot going on in their lives, and Wren is feeling out of sorts. All of her hero’s always have this “grumpy” shitty attitude that acts as an excuse for their disgusting acts and let them get away with it when they do something cheesy and “romantic” for the heroine after doing the worst things a person can do to her. it's a coming-of-age story, especially for our girl wren, who throughout this book goes on a journey of liberating herself sexually and breaking out of the box she has put herself in her whole life, and the boy, crew, who helps her accept herself. she wears that word proudly through her purity ring, a promise she made to her father that she would only break once she is married. a good girl through and through, she is idolized by her younger peers, until her friends start to grow up and make their own choices. The characters, the storyline, the spice and everything in between was executed beautifully. I think what everyone will enjoy the most is how the author brings the title of the book into play. It was one of my favourite scenes and I hope someone appreciates it as much as I did! The virginity of the female lead was one of my concerns before reading. I was wary about how it would be handled—whether she'd give it away to the first boy she sees or whether she'd be heavily pressured into it but after meeting Crew, my doubts just flew out the window.Coming home late one evening after a few drinks Grant finds a woman in his bed. Whilst he doesn’t know who she is, he isn’t surprised that there is one there knowing that it is probably a surprise from his brother – a somewhat silly tradition between them. Sliding into bed he rouses the woman and finds her responsive to him, although there is something familiar about her. the romance between the two is not healthy, and it baffles me that this book is starting to trend amongst teens and be pitched as a spicy rom-com. Even the older girls, the upperclassmen, were drawn to her. Completely captivated by a seemingly innocent green-eyed girl who has barely spoken ten words to me in the entirety of her time here.
