About this deal

The man had been a McHenry’s regular years before Finn bought the place, so the likelihood of him being a plant was slim to none. She cursed her clacking heels, advertising her presence to anything with even the most dullard of ears. The story had an excellent start and brought a new refreshing take on how the main character gets placed into the digital world, unfortunately after that the story staggered and I had trouble keeping interest. Unless you don't like it for personal reasons, you'll likely be listening, if not reading the entire thing!

Inside the cave is one stone tablet on the floor, on the left side of the room as you face the Undead King from the entrance. The Barrow is a sentient dungeon, so whilst there is other things occurring, side quests, potential allies, etc, it focuses mainly on the dungeon aspect as Finn, in game name Gryph, works his way through hoping to find am exit, his enemy, and tries to find his sister. Brynn had become trusted by some powerful people and had discovered something that was going to cost her, and she hoped that Finn would enter the game to help free her mind, and had rigged it to help him, by sending allies who would be there to help him. The story was enjoyable, and I could visualize the storyline easily (it even reminded me of WoW at times).Once the book got going it was unrelenting, and for me the set up was the only thing that even slightly held the story up, but you have to have that background info, and even that was not some simple I’m entering a game and leveling up. I also appreciated how he avoided the trope of the smart mouthed AI that usually helps and hinders the MC as the story progresses. In those days, the Starks were not the greatest house in the North, and Winterfell was not the greatest castle.

The greatest of the old kings were buried with servants to attend them in the next world and warriors to guard them. I’m not really sure it’s going to result in much in-depth play beyond maybe one rp event that evolves in a combat, but, it’s fresh anyway.I may be the only friend you have left,” Dalton said, his grin buried under another fit of bloody coughing. A deep breath brought calm to Brynn’s mind, but all Reynolds saw was the way the silk of her blouse expanded. LitRPG/GameLit is a genre that incorporates gaming elements from tabletop roleplaying games like Dungeons and Dragons and Pathfinder with epic RPG video games like The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim and MMO’s like World of Warcraft and sets them in a fantasy or science fiction setting. My mother bought that shiny red box for me after reading an ‘editorial’ in the local paper claiming that role playing games drove kids to worship dark forces in the sewers.

The narrator got on my nerves constantly emphasizing and drawing out words that didn’t need to be emphasized. Or this could have been much more interesting if the bandits had crates and crates of eggs indicating they’d probably recently robbed someone on the road.Almost every fight MC is about to loose and then something outside of his purview or control happens, and the fight is won. This was one of the best LitRPG books I've read, but giving it more than an average rating would encourage sloppy work, and I just can't do that. I didn't know what to think of a litrpg book having never read one before but this book was a real fun good read.
