For the most part, the ASUS performs better because it has a much higher refresh rate of 280Hz and faster response times at max refresh rate. Is suppose the fact that this monitor can't be overclocked could be considered a con but even with my much more expensive previous Samsung monitor all I got was an extra 5 fps so hardly a big deal.

Not much of an issue though, as you're probably only going to tweak a few things and then leave it for the rest of its life.
