Emollients don’t actually do much in way of hydrating the skin. Rather, you can think of them as crutches the skin uses when it doesn’t have enough moisture on its own to be very flexible. It’s why the “tight” feeling of skin instantly disappears when you apply stuff like oil on it.

Think of oils and waxes; these would be considered emollients. They sink into the skin’s broken protein links, or more simply put, the dry crevices on the surface of skin to make it more pliable. For normal skin, you can’t go wrong with the classic Hada Labo Gokujyun Hyaluronic Lotion. While the whole product range is suitable for most skin types; for normal skin any of the lotions in the blue Shirojyun line are suitable for brightening, and any of the lotions in the red Gokujyun Alpha line are suitable for anti-aging. Is Hada Labo good for acne-prone skin? Rather It felt light-weight and intensively hydrating on my skin, although I was using a little (2-4 drops). a little goes along way. So, I think it’s going to be very suitable for your oily skin too, just ensure you apply a little (on a moist or damp skin), but individuals with dry skin typeare going to enjoy this formula even the more.Hada Labo Moisturizing Cleansing Oil is designed to deep clean and gently remove dirt, excessive oil, heavy makeup, and even waterproof mascara. Is Hada Labo good for oily skin?

Hada Labo has been a J-Beauty fan favorite for years, especially for those who are constantly searching for budget-friendly products with top knotch formulations. One of the more popular products from this line, aside from their iconic Hyaluronic Lotion Moist is the Hada Labo Foaming Cleanser. This no-fuss cleanser features a watery texture and self-foaming pump that delivers just the right amount of foamy, bubbly cleanser. Although this product is technically a foaming cleanser, most users will agree that because of the minimal ingredients list and hydrating base, this product is much less drying than your typical foaming cleanser. With that said however, we’d still recommend this product most to those of you with normal to oil, as foaming cleansers as a whole can be less than ideal for those of you with frequently dry or dehydrated skin types. Additionally, this is also best used as a second step cleanser, as the formula itself is not ideal for makeup removal. Many people don’t really like parabens because of its potential of causing possible irritations. But since I have been using this formula I have never encounter any sort of irritation. So, if you’re ok with parabens, that’s good. But if you’re not, it’s totally fine and understandable, you can try other hyaluronic acid serums.

So therefore, once you’ve cleansed your face avoid toweling off completely. Then apply you’re hyaluronic formula, that way hyaluronic acid knows what it’s doing and ends up supremely keeping your skin hydrated and plumped. Does Hada Labo contain paraben?

The functions of hyaluronic acid are based on the ability of this molecule to absorb and hold water. In fact, hyaluronic acid is able to hold more water than any other natural substance—up to 1,000 times its weight in water! This is possible because hyaluronic acid is a glycosaminoglycan (GAG), a long polysaccharide (sugar molecule) composed of disaccharides called amino sugars and uronic acid. GAGs are negatively charged and thus tend to attract positively charged sodium and potassium ions. In turn, this causes the GAGs to absorb and hold a large amount of water.
