My frustration when Ember was backed into a corner only enhanced my feelings and attachments towards the story and characters. As if they weren’t enough to deal with, a chance encounter with the arrogant Prince Franco leaves her humiliated and in a fiery rage. Heart of the Raven Prince is a complete stand-alone novel set in the same world as The Fair Isle Trilogy.Despite being nice to see Ember taking charge of her life and doing everything possible to break free, Franco felt short.

Adding to the confession, I was actually very influenced by my ACOTAR thoughts as I slid into this book. Ember is half-fae and lives with her step-mother and two stepsisters after a bargain she made, which stated she will have to live and obey them until she turns 19.

Your face could be hideous by traditional standards, and it wouldn’t diminish your beauty, for I’ve seen the tapestry of your emotions. If you ever wondered what Cinderella and the Prince were talking about during the ball, Ember and Franco will answer that. I absolutely adore her and even through this book is only 490 pages long, we really got know her as a person and I loved that! The 'enemies to lovers' banter felt pretty lame when they fell so deeply in love in just the span of 14 days.

Wanting past the bluster and sparkle and having been wounded by the past and being very wary of the future. I was immediately caught up in Ember and Franco's enemies to lovers romance and I didn't want it to end.Her writing is that kind that pulls you in with the first line you read and lets you out only after you are broken, satisfied and a mess! This was a fresh and very satisfying Cinderella story complete with hot fae, magical twists and a beautiful love story. He also has a reputation that proceeds him, so every woman or mother is throwing themselves or their daughters at him. I've already loved this world for some time now, but the characters, reveals, personal growth and HEA ending were my favorite parts. One day the beautiful thoughts you penned down may disappear–aka you may have accidentally deleted it without knowing.
