Noah, sweet sweet Noah ~ what an all around delightful guy he was for being only 21. He and his mama had such a heartwarming relationship. Now I’m a husk of the person I used to be, I’m travelling down a route that’s too hazy to follow, and I don’t see any way out. It didn't matter how wild I allowed my imagination to run, it always led me to the same place in the end. Honestly, I don't really like the author's writing. And the story and characters are just totally unrealistic; it's clear that the author writes from a list of plot points she wants to hit without truly doing any world or character building. Just like an actor takes on a role and has to understand the nuances for how characters would behave in certain instances, author's also need to do this work to bring their characters and worlds to life.

I confess part of my draw to this title was seeing Lee Samuels was on board. He does not disappoint! He is the perfect Noah. Noah goes through so much and you feel it all: sweetness, lust, devotion, sorrow, determination, and of course most important, love. meagan’s writing has the ability to make you feel as if you are right there with each character as they go through everything. my favorite characters would have to be cameron and noah, the latter being my new number one book boyfriend (he cooks, is a golden retriever, and has a soft spot for his mom) 💌 The story revolves around 5 inseparable best friends ~ Arianna, Mason, Chase, Brady & Cameron. They were together constantly in high school, are deeded a beach house together and go to college together. The girls live together and the boys live together. The boys play football together and if the girls aren't at the games then they're watching it on tv together. That's a whole lot of togetherness. So I liked this well enough, but I feel like I could have liked it a bit more about 10 years ago, not when these characters are close to my daughters age. I can’t be thinking about my precious girl doing all the things these kids are doing ~ fake id’s, underage drinking and hookin up and what not. Can’t say I didn’t do it myself, but ya know, not my sweet baby girl. Going to have to start phasing out of reading YA romance. In a soft tone, he whispers, “Juliet, I must say, I consider myself quite brilliant.” His gaze gently shifts towards my lips, captivated by their allure. In this thought-provoking statement, the speaker emphasises the foolishness of releasing someone once they have been captured in the desired position. The repetition of the phrase “once they had you where they wanted you” further emphasises the speaker’s point, highlighting the significance of not letting go. It is a powerful reminder of the consequences that can arise from making hasty decisions without considering the potential outcomes.

Also Ari’s brother and his two friends were strangely protective of Ari and her best girl friend’s honor or something and wouldn’t even let a guy look at or talk to them. Who acts like this unless they are religious? I'm not going to rate this book because it did bring out some emotions in me. I stewed in bed until I finally fell asleep and woke up still thinking about it. This is probably the longest review I've ever done. It probably makes zero sense because I am not a writer by any means. The writing was juvenile and the inner monologue was never ending. Everyone in here had no personality except Noah. That man single handedly carried every conversation. But he just wasn’t enough to make me suffer thru till the end.

Evening comes, and eventually, Noah shows up with his other teammates. Arianna, finds herself setting alone at the party pining for Chase who is visiting with everyone else. He pays her absolutely no attention until Noah shows up and immediately gravitates to Arianna on the patio. Of course, Chase notices this. It is obvious that Noah realized from the second he laid eyes on Arianna that she was what he wanted and he knew that he needed to be near her. Their banter was witty and intelligent. During their short conversation, their attraction became even more apparent, but Noah also recognized that Arianna had feelings for Chase who was exhibiting jealousy. She commented that Chase wasn't really interested, but Noah explained that some men realize who they want when other men begin paying attention to them. He showed Arianna that Chase could not take his eyes off of them while they sat there together. At some point, she called Noah Romeo in jest and he referred to her as Juliet. He left after a short period because he was respecting her feelings for Chase, but as he left he called her Juliet again. Arianna pointed out that story was a tragedy but Noah made it known that from his perspective it was an "epic" love story. Now there's a new man in my life, one who isn't afraid to go after what he wants, and what he wants...is me. i have never felt such an array of emotions until reading this. it truly is the definition of an emotional rollercoaster 🎢 with an ending that is well worth the wait. Say you Swear is a love triangle, college football sports romance with angst, friendships, love, and heartbreaking moments that took me on an emotional rollercoaster and had me feeling all of the emotions.Wow, I didn’t expect to love this book so much and have so many emotions coursing through me. The story was beautiful and I loved it. Now there's a new man in my life, one who isn't afraid to go after what he wants, and what he wants ... is me. I loved the idea of love triangle, and of a heroine who moves on from who she thought was the one only to meet someone who truly is the one. This is my favourite type of love triangle. Needless to say, I didn’t like how this book progressed that plot.

I just love when a book makes you feel so many emotions throughout the process of reading it and this book did just that and more!!Ari is a real cutie. I loved her character and I’m just so glad that she got what she deserved after having gotten treated so badly by Chase. Chase. Noah is acting in the best interest of Arianna every step of the way while Chase is only acting in his own best interest.

Anyway… other than that minor inconvenience, the book was perfection! I loved every second of it! And I noticed that Meagan Brandy’s writing style has improved a lot since the last time I’ve read a book of hers and I’m very proud of her for that!! MY ONLY NEGATIVE: The writing could be better, the only face people would do it’s a frown and smile. That kinda annoyed me but it didn’t bother me that much. Also, its long and could be couple of chapters shorter but other than that every chapter is important and you see it in the couple of chapters in the end. Cameron and Arianna’s friendship was everything. They are the definition of true best friends who will be there for each other no matter what and will always be each other’s shoulder to cry on. Their friendship made my heart melt. I love them so much. I wish their was a second book on Cameron, so she can get her happy ever after too. Because she deserves the world. For years, I've dreamt of what college life could bring, and while some things changed, there was always one constant. When I started listening I was disappointed in myself for purchasing this on a whim not realising it was a “school romance” book.let me just say, the hype is real! i went into this pretty blind, not knowing much other than a few of the tropes and i’m so glad i did. this book is by far one of the most beautiful and heartbreaking books i’ve ever read. When she meets Noah they become friends first. He teaches her to cook, talks with her and truly gets to know her. Noah is a gem of a man. QB of the football team, devoted son, and all around good guy. You can’t help but root for him. He’s not pushy with Ari, he knows she had feelings for someone else she’s getting over and he takes his time with her.
