It was really exciting for all of us because [ Bend It Like Beckham] was a film we all knew, and it was, again, about girls.

The other female teen guests have gone the more conventional route -- sexy devils in shorts red skirts, for example.

I was about 9 years old when I watched this hilarious movie and a couple of months ago, i watched it again. I’d seen the same thing with Keira Knightley, when she came in with 40 other girls [for Bend It Like Beckham], and I saw that with Aaron.I got to the point where I couldn't read this book during silent reading time in my class, it made me laugh so hard. Chadha: I’m so proud of the film and I was super sad when Louise died so unexpectedly [in 2016] because I thought there was a lot more that we could have done with these characters. All Women Love Shoes: Georgia takes this to the extreme when she chooses to wear shoes three sizes too small just so she can impress Masimo.
