Regular use of Vitax Azalea, Rhododendron and Shrub Fertiliser, supplemented with applications of Seaweed plus Iron will help growing conditions.It is only if the plants show signs of nutritional deficiency or are growing too slowly that you may need to set up an azalea fertilizing schedule. A better choice for annual spring feeding of healthy, established azaleas is a complete, acid-forming, organic fertilizer. see “Signs of over fertilization” section below) Soil acidifiers are a good option if your nutrient levels are good but the soil pH is too alkaline. Simply wet the leaves and soak the compost or soil every 14 days during spring and summer for great results.

When in bloom, azaleas offer a show-stopping diversity of colors, from pinks and purples to red, white, orange, and yellow.
