About this deal

The deep blue color is pretty nice, and I’m a fan of the stitched sides too. Running my fingers across the material, it’s easy to tell that this is built to last. The very first impression of the pad was extremely good but highly worrisome when using my XM1/MM711 on it. The Cordura fabric is unlike any other that I have tested so far. When moving your mouse on the surface, it is perfectly fine, it glides extremely well and I have not noticed a big difference between vertical/horizontal speed (horizontal speed being a tad faster than vertical). The issue itself comes from the cable of both mice. Let me try to explain in the easiest way possible. Imagine having a 3d poster, and scratching it with your fingernails. Are you getting shivers? I for sure am. Now, you can't really hear it, it is very faint and you really have to be throwing your mosue around (like my stupid ass) to hear that sound, but from time to time, it would creep in. Is that a deal breaker? Not at all, since you can barely hear it, but I would imagine that for some people, it could get slightly annoying. The top is very strong, abrasive resistant, tear-resistant, and water-resistant. For something that’s going to be sitting in one spot more often than not, the chances of ruining it are slim to none. Be careful when using the hairdryer too, as you want to avoid overheating the mouse, which can cause damage to your mouse (plastic melting or warping) and also cause injury to yourself, so proceed with caution.

With the MPC450 , Endgame Gear focused on making a professional gaming e-sports mousepad suitable for tournament use. The Endgame Gear MPC450's 45 x 40cm textile surface has excellent sliding properties and is optimized for optical sensors.Once you have removed all the old skates from the base your mouse, give the surface a clean by using rubbing alcohol (Isopropyl). This will remove any excess adhesive that may still be present. Leave the mouse to dry, and then it's time to apply the new ones. I've noticed a trend with these cheap budget pads with generic rubber foams/bases, they tend to form these waves/bumps (which you can feel) as you wash them even with just water ; I've had this on pretty much every budget pad I've owned - AC+ white, Hyperx fury s, Thor, Zerogravity, Infinity, and this included. GSR, GSR-SE, GP4 on the other hand did not have this issue on my end probably because of it's SR foam base, so from my experience I'd say to take a look on the new tiger pads with the SR foam base or any pad with the SR foam if you don't want to encounter this problem. The MPX390 may also be an option if you're really into cordura, EGG advertises it as the flattest and most premium mousepad out there due to its silicone base and imo if that's what it really offers It's worth it. My artisans (hien, zero) never had this issue as well and I've washed them a handful of times over the month, now I could see why artisan is praised as the best of the best out there. Moments of intense gaming usually have me dragging my mouse all over the place, but the rubberized base of the mousepad did well to keep it in place no matter where I dragged the mouse to. Now I don’t know about you but I am usually not gaming in the great outdoors so why would anyone want to make a mousepad out of this? The answer to that question is pretty simple: this pad is dirt- and water repellent and, simply put, is meant to last for years and years and then some, so there’s no need to worry about it degrading on you the minute you’ve had one too many sweaty gaming sessions.

As an avid speed pad lover I bit the bullet for this one when the revised version came out. I've been using it intensively occasionally switching to other pads like the AC+. The glide out of the box at first felt even faster than my helios hardpad, which was a very pleasant experience on my end. Having the right mousepad can be crucial for consistent gameplay and make a huge difference to your performance which can be especially important in fast-paced games where split-second decisions can make all the difference. Speed is great, but it can also take some getting used to. One of the perks of using slower pads is the level of control you have while using your mice on them. The Endgame Gear MPC450 Cordura Mousepad requires very little maintenance. If you have any spills, dirt, or stains, a simple wipedown will take care of it more often than not. TL;DR: I hope that companies will start making their mousepads less intrusive design-wise whilst keeping it brand orientated. Finally, once the grip tape is properly applied, use a sharp hobby knife or scissors to trim any excess grip tape from around the edges of your mouse. Trimming the edges gives your mouse a clean and finished look. MPC series comes in three different sizes. L (MPC-450), XL (MPC-890) and Extended (MPC-1200). I was sent the MPC-450. As you would expect, given that most mousepads today offer 450x400 variant, this was no different. As a low/medium sensitivity player (800 DPI - 1.6 sens in CS, 5.33 sens in OW, 0.503 sens in Valorant), I was extremely happy with the size, given that I am 34cm/360. I never had the issue of going over the vertical or horizontal space. Fast forward to today, and I have to say it's slowed down so much to the point where I don't want to use it anymore. After washing it for about 4 times since I've had it, waves/bumps started to form and made it feel like an inconsistent mess. I am also really delicate with how I handle my pads, so it's not a me issue. Even a broken-in scratched up helios feels better than this. The claim that it’s water repellent really holds true as well. Just to test I spilled a bunch of my precious water on the pad and it stayed on there long enough for me to grab my camera, take photos, and upload them. Afterwards I just gently dipped the spill with an absorbent cloth and the pad was about as dry as my lawn after weeks of zero rain. I personally don’t need my pads to be water resistant since I keep my drinks away from my keyboard and mouse space but I’m just saying that all this talk about Cordura being a reliable and low-maintenance fabric doesn’t come out of thin air.
