The palate is richly flavourful and smooth combining generosity and elegance, followed by a delicately fresh crispiness to reveal the magical balance of champagne. After nearly two years in barrels, the blend was conditioned on more than 3 lbs/gallon of toasted coconut flakes and raw coconut chips, then finished with toasted hazelnut. First brewed for the legendary festival of Wood and Barrel Aged Beer in Chicago, drinkers enjoyed this Bourbon County Variant so much we bottled it the next year (2010). Production is extremely limited, as the amount of care and labor which go into each batch is substantial. This stout was first aged 12 months in 11-year-old Elijah Craig barrels from our friends at Heaven Hill distilleries.

We intertwined several of our favorite recipes into this massive stout and then aged it for 15 months in 15-year-old Willett Family Estate Bourbon barrels which were hand-selected by our friend Drew Kulsveen of Willett Distillery. It is a wonderful creamy fizz with lots of fresh lemon flavours and a beautifully classic effervescent finish.

It tastes like if you took a waffle cone and filled it with bourbon soaked German chocolate cake then drizzled it with burnt caramel. With these rare barrels from our friends at Heaven Hill we believe this is one of the finest beers we have ever produced. Mango, orange, and sweet grapefruit are predominant in the aroma with hints of pineapple and blended tropical fruit juice. The blend is crafted to be consistent in a house style year after year and relies on a proportion of reserve wines to ensure this style is acheived each year by the master blenders. Many barrels were filled, very few were selected; now after over a year in bourbon barrels, followed by another year in apple brandy barrels, Double Barrel Assassin is finally ready. Intense aromatics of espresso and maple syrup lead into bourbon drenched maple candy and chocolate brownies on the palate. This mead is the finest representation of our core commitments to fidelity and quality of ingredients.

These are my two favorite rye barrels we use and I believe that they compliment our brewing and recipes better than any other. When we first released Kentucky Brunch Brand Stout back in early 2012, we knew we believed in the experience it had to offer, but with only 6 people showing up for the original release, we had no idea how well it would be received over the long term.

Prepare your palate for the delectable flavors of milk chocolate and fudge, laced with caramel undertones and a warming finish of bourbon and apple brandy. By gently decanting the Zenne y Frontera, the aroma of this unique lambik will evolve from vividly tangy to a complex nutty and fully fruity bouquet. This natural millésime beer is a blend of young lambics that have been aged for another 12 months in 40 year old Oloroso and PX sherry casks. Brut Impérial is Moët et Chandon's benchmark Champagne, created from more than 100 different wines, of which 20% to 30% are reserve wines (held back from older vintages) specially selected to enhance their mature character, complexity and consistency.
