The plot - workplace romance, POC main character, grumpy X sunshine, enemies to lovers, topics of grief and suicide are briefly mentioned but not massively triggering. As Mae pushes Hugo to explore his dreams for his future, he'll encourage her to channel a new, vulnerable side of her art.The first season will focus on stories about where love and marriage meet, examining what the institution is, means and how it’s changing.

Although I thought that his and Mae’s relationship developed too quickly (I think they had feelings for each other after two days? Lauren has an incredible knack for observing and articulating the many relatable experiences we encounter whilst navigating the world of dating. The topic of singleness in the Church is one that's not often talked about and, when it is, it is often from a view of incompleteness and inferiority. Hugo’s life, which has been tied to his siblings, also painted a very mundane and routine existence, so it makes sense that he wants time to explore who he is, be an individual instead of a sextuplet, and have time to be alone.The most interesting aspect is Hugo's concern over whether he can defer his university scholarship for a year to travel. Also, I would have liked better if there was a conversation between Mike and Seth, an epilogue mention of Kiran and Mike or something of that sort.

Picked up straight to series, the project explores the unexpected-life-changing, euphoric, hilarious, surreal and all-consuming places where love intersects in everyone’s lives. Also, a personal thing, I wish they had proof read this, many spelling mistakes and some lines missing spaces really took me out of the reading experience. Seth didn't suddenly become cordial and all-good-tempered when he met Kiran, it's a work in progress.Many churches in the UK don't focus on their single members and if anyone is struggling with being a single Christian, then this book explains how you can learn to understand and value your worth as a single person, whether or not you are looking to be in a relationship.
