About this deal

While nothing can be said negative about the top billing of Jessica Chastain, she just wasn’t given enough to work with here in my opinion. The only question I had unanswered was how early I would be able to partake in a screening of it before the general public. A few that stood out other than those mentioned are the entering of the wormhole, entering Miller’s atmosphere/landing, Cooper and Gargantua.

In chapter 9, the wide-angle shots of the Endurance making its approach to the wormhole and then venturing through it, look terrific, as the deep, interstitial blacks, sepia tones, and flashes of brilliant light show off the spot-on application of HDR. It was interesting to learn how they sought out to make the robots as human as possible without actually being human and functional as well. Interstellar comes to Ultra HD Blu-ray from Paramount Home Distribution featuring 2160pHEVC encoded video that has an average bitrate of 66 Mbps and lossless DTS-HD 5. At startup, viewers are taken directly to a static screen with the usual selection along the bottom and music playing in the background, which stops after about a minute.

The rendering of detail is excellent, as the finest minutia in the film’s variety of textures, as seen in the Cooper home, on the ship’s interiors, or in the landscapes, on Earth or beyond, are reproduced with stark realism. I didn't like the theatrical colours, personally and prefer something a bit warmer) It wasn't as yellow or green as th Yes, it would have been nice to have just a little more backstory to Cooper before leaving this world or even see his character initially resist the offer to commander the mission, but in the end, it is what it is and I’m happy with what I have because it’s the emotions that transcend this piece. Rejoice in the marvel that is Interstellar 4K and know you’re getting reference quality from head-to-toe with this 4K UHD Blu-ray product.

English SDH, German SDH, Italian SDH, Arabic, Brazilian Portguese, Cantonese, Castilian Spanish, Complex Chinese, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Finnish, French, Greek, Hebrew, Hungarian, Korean, Latin Spanish, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Swedish. encode, surpassing the Blu-ray by light-years, though some mild turbulence keeps it shy of a perfect flight. No matter how much corn they try to grow, humankind will eventually succumb to the Earth's dusty future. But what’s even more interesting to me than that, if you’re a fan of filmmaking and of course the movie Interstellar, you’ll get exclusive insight into the making of the movie, the effects, how it all came about and of course one-hundred and one reasons why Kip Thorne is the man of the hour here (or should I say three hours). It's the perfect sandbox for Nolan to play in, exploring string theory and relativity with jaw-dropping on-screen results; bringing such highbrow concepts down to earth with very real set-pieces that blister with tension and leave you yearning to get to grips with some very elusive ideas. Life on Cooper’s Farm – We get a look at the location of the farm (in Canada, not the Mid-West), the immense corn field that was actually planted (and later sold, which turned a profit) as well as some of the accruements of the Cooper place.
