I bought this for my wife in July, but I didn't check the expiration date right away at the post office. Love in Paris is very easy to wear romantic floral with notes of soft florals (rose and jasmine), apricot, vanilla and light woods but it's well blended that it's not easy to pick out single notes. I first brought it in 2008 and purchased it again 8 years later and was pleasantly surprised to smell such a complex, fresh, yet powdery and gentle fruity floral one rarely finds nowadays! I must admit I do have a hard time picking up individual notes in this fume, they all just sort of mesh together and form this overall aura of .The banana mixes with pear, peony, rose, peach, and musk all through the drydown, forming a lotion like smell, similar to that in CL Tumulte. I can see some similarity to Juicy Couture la la juicy but Love in Paris is more mature like an older sister. They just peek through from time to time and remind me that this could have been at least a nice creamy everyday perfume if they toned down the sharp cleanliness, especially in the sillage.
