About this deal

The CEOL is a mini HiFi system, designed to fit in any room, with removable speakers and a compact footprint. You can buy the system without the speakers and add your own. The Denon CEOL N10 uses a new Texas Instruments TAS5142 amplifier chip, which signal is fed digitally without any intermediate DA/AD conversion, thus avoiding inherent noise and distortion. Well, first off, it’s important to note that this is a full Hi-Fi system. It’s a lot more sophisticated than any wireless speaker on its own. With both AirPlay and Bluetooth built-in, connecting your devices couldn’t be easier. The Denon CEOL-N10 also features Wi-Fi and internet radio, so there’s no limit to what you can listen to.

The Denon CEOL-N10 isn’t just a massive hit among audio fans for its compact design and unique appearance. This powerful Hi-Fi system offers a modern experience. Denon first introduced its CEOL (N-7) network music system in 2010, and, eight years on, we have the latest (fourth) generation model, the N10. Another huge bonus of the Denon CEOL is its amazing amplification module, the Class-D power stage can deliver a massive amount of power, without muddying the sound spectrum.

It's freedom of music. It's part of the HEOS multi-room family. It's improved TV-Sound. It's a great CD-Player. For everybody CEOL is something different. Find out what it is for you. ALL YOU NEED IS HEOS. If you’re in the market for a mini HiFi system that’s big on performance, then this could be the product you’ve been looking for. The heart of your wireless network. With Bluetooth, AirPlay 2 and wireless streaming connectivity, the Denon CEOL is equipped with an advanced hidden dual antenna transceiver system for robust streaming even in congested urban environments. Enjoy listening to your favourite audio content wirelessly from your smart devices or network Operating the CEOL-N10 is incredibly simple, thanks to the easy-to-use buttons or the included remote control. It’s easy to be impressed with the Denon CEOL N10. When you put on a CD (or USB key) and turn up the music, you are greeted by a charming and quite rich soundscape. There is ok pressure in the pass, and the music comes out of the speakers.

There are various ways to tweak the sound quality, most easily accessed from the HEOS ‘now playing’ screen. This has a left-right balance control, plus EQ offering treble and bass sliders, and a ‘Super Dynamic Bass’ option, which certainly thumps up the low end, at the expense of a slight softening of higher frequencies; this was too much for us with internet radio, indeed it’s a sign of good sonic design that we spent nearly all of our CEOL listening with the ‘Source Direct’ option engaged, thereby hopefully getting the cleanest path to music. DLNA, Auto Power Off, Sleep Timer, iPod/iPhone Charging, Wake Up function, Internet Radio, Voice Control, Timer, Wireless Music Centre FLAC up to 192kHz/24-bit, WAV up to 192kHz/24-bit, AIFF up to 192kHz/24-bit, ALAC up to 96kHz/24-bit We nearly forgot the CD player, so sidelined has this format become in our lives today. But those with silver to spin can be assured that this source was a highlight in terms of clarity and dynamics. The Painted Ladies’ version of Vic Simms’ Poor Folks Happiness drove forth with a full bassline, vocals and guitars well defined.Despite a wide selection of features, the Denon CEOL-N10 is a compact and easy-to-use solution. This device doesn’t take up much space, and it takes minutes to set up. You can even access more of your music through the built-in CD player and AM/FM tuner. Denon CEOL-N10 review: Performance WPS (WiFi Protected Setup), WiFi Sharing, WMM (WiFi Multimedia), WAC (Wireless Accessory Configuration), WiFi 802.11b/g/n

They also have built-in phono stages so they can be hooked straight up to a system, and both feature unique dust covers that can be removed and used to rest a vinyl album sleeve against. Enjoy exceptional sound in a minimalist style. The Denon CEOL N11DAB Hi-Fi-Network CD Receiver with HEOS Built-in music streaming, Bluetooth® and voice control is the perfect compact stereo for all your musical desires. THE ONE. FOR ALL. The high quality CD mechanism plays all your compact disc in high quality as it is especially designed to minise vibration which could influence the audio quality. It plays MP3 and WMA files too.

For the kitchen I have an old Marantz CR603. Over the years the DAB gave up and the online services available shrank as Marantz removed 3rd party integration ( still a thing I gather here). We use the radio a lot (FM/AM but DAB would cover most stations I hope), the CD occasionally and use the aux for phone. Would definitely want to have more streaming options. Have considered keeping the 603 but adding a Bluesound Node. Sorta prefer to keep it simple in kitchen (family use - presets preferred!). Sound quality is important to me but for kitchen use, it's not so critical. With something to suit virtually every taste, this company has tried its hand at headphones, Hi-Fi systems, home theatres and more. In other words, if you’re looking for high-quality audio, then Denon gives you a good place to start. I have considered going cheap with the DM41 v spending more on small 2/3 box units but the N11 appears to be middle ground which would suit. Founded in 1910, Denon has a deep heritage of “firsts” in audio technology — from Japan’s first audio electronics manufacturer, to producing the world’s first commercial CDs. This focused investment in audio R&D ensures you get the latest technology and highest quality with every listening experience.
