About this deal

and Civet, I love a Civet note and here it is reminiscent of a natural fur smell, Like on a cat or something, And slightly urinous.

Some of the technologies we use are necessary for critical functions like security and site integrity, account authentication, security and privacy preferences, internal site usage and maintenance data, and to make the site work correctly for browsing and transactions. The jasmine note is slightly indolic, adding a hint of dirt, and I get iris or orris root during the later stages of Joy, giving a nice powdery start to the drydown. It's harder to control the intensity just by spraying both, but I have to say that the combo just makes my experience with Joy more harmonious. As time presses on, my skin brings out the absolute worst of Joy, it makes a mess of the lasting base notes. Dark rose, indolic jasmine, strong tuberose and stinky civet but worked out so perfectly one has to surrender to it’s bizarre beauty when you really appreciate classic jewels from a glorious and gorgeous era. He says that he discerns a rubbery note, which might be the "doll's head" element that others have noticed. after the initial vinegary animalistic civet aroma dies down, a beautiful bouquet of flowers emerged, perfect for just lounging on your chaise lounge in an evening gown. I purchased a small bottle for my collection a while ago, after learning some of the history behind it (and of course, I love Vivien Leigh); I wanted to have a little piece of history in my home, and did not expect to fall in love with the scent itself.

It started so good: opulent jasmine and tuberose, that I immediately got strong cravings to purchase it right away, especially knowing that it is discontinued.

Infusion of golden warmth via a sharp-edged floral which quickly develops a delightful depth from sticky Ylang-Ylang (never entirely sure about this in raw form and gives me a headache as an essence), warm rose and something else heady and lush; Tuberose? In fact, I was so nervous that I spilled lthe dupe all over my lap when I was getting ready, so I am pretty sure I was smellable. A visionary fashion designer, Jean Patou invented the monogram, slipping his initials onto jersey swimwear, marked them with the "JP" of the house. While I will always crave a variety of fragrances, I have recently discovered Eau du Soir and am feeling *most* everyone else is either left in the dust or at least looking a lot less versatile and cumbersome for not being such workhorses or good performers.

This is for a powerful woman, beyond trite definitions of confidence, beyond the need to prove herself to anyone. When I tried this on my skin, unfortunately, it really is a bit too indolic and animalic for everyday wear. The JOY I have is the modern Eau de Parfum version, the last iteration produced: and even with the reformulations, it still has a huge impact on me. Parfum keeps its richness all the way to a soft beautiful scent like EDT after hours on the ultimate drydown, while EDT is kinda of dusted flowers like old perfume when it is eventually developed. That same completely not-of-the-ordinary, exalted chorus of flowers singing in one vaulted shining pitch. There is a bright aldehylic soapiness to the opening - I think aldehydes must be present in the lighter concentrations. The heart beats passionately in pure and sweetly fresh jasmine notes, seductive and balmy spicy and darkened iris root. Like Cinnamonpeelerswife, I find that Joy puts me in mind of a pristine glamor and of the opera (though for me there's nothing dated about it). Our fragrance boutique features a range of niche, indie, and designer perfumes and colognes sure to please any perfume enthusiast.
