About this deal

One thing that does bug me is the material for the vinyl sleeves, since I feel like it'll keep any fingerprint I give it forever which makes me maybe not want to play it as much as I should.

What musical content that’s there, is great - the LPs, CDs, DVD, Blu-rays all contain the various mixes of the album, to me they all sound phenomenal and the Atmos version is amazing. Pink Floyd with a stand-alone release of the newly remastered The Dark Side Of The Moon on CD, LP and Blu-ray. and high-resolution remastered stereo mixes, Blu-Ray of Atmos and high-resolution remastered stereo mixes, DVD of 5. The set also includes additional Blu-ray disc of Atmos mix plus CD and LP of 'The Dark Side of the Moon - Live At Wembley Empire Pool, London, 1974'.All post-2005 pressings including "The Great Gig in the Sky" credit both Wright and Torry for the song, as per her successful court challenge. For anyone who already owns Dark Side on vinyl, all you're really paying for is that incremental improvement. What I can say is that the emotions are still present, certainly they are not the same but this disc is so well recorded that you will always find something positive in it. If the LP is cut from the same BG lacquer from a few years back, it has absolutely zero interest whatsoever.

One of the most famous albums in rock history, Pink Floyd’s 1973 juggernaut ‘The Dark Side Of The Moon’ gets a new remaster to mark half a century since its release. Certain items can take longer to source than the estimated week, particularly during busy trading periods and may take longer to arrive at our warehouse.Fifty years on, in recognition of the iconic album and with the help of huge strides in technology, an official full dome experience with stunning visuals of the solar system and beyond and played out to 42 minutes of The Dark Side Of The Moon, will be released in Planetariums around the world in March. You've Got It Made With All The Toys') features the previously unheard ‘Shadow Man (Vocal And Piano Mix)', an alternative stripped back mix of the Toy album track, along with the unreleased live versions of ‘I Dig Everything' and ‘The London Boys’. The box set is packaged inside 2 cardboard boxes, 43,2 x 43,4 x 12,7 cm, total weight 6,6 kilograms. One of the most iconic and influential albums ever, Pink Floyd's 'The Dark Side of the Moon' celebrates its 50th anniversary. On February 27th 1973, EMI Records held a press conference for the debut presentation of Pink Floyd’s new album The Dark Side Of The Moon at the London Planetarium.

I already possess the 30th-anniversary SHLV 804 pressing, the 1993 20th-anniversary CD, and numerous other format versions. Having waited this long, I had wondered whether the story that MFSL has accidentally erased the original Master tape was true. and remastered stereo mixes, 160-page hardback photo book, music book of original album, replicas of 2 x 7-inch singles and memorabilia.

So while I'm sick to see yet another release of what was a brilliantly recorded album originally, for me, it came down to this. If you’re a Dark side of the Moon fan this really is a very complete package the music is presented in every format, the books are very nicely done. Better ears than mine might explain the differences, but if like me you're old enough [north of 60] to have worn your original platter severely, then re-invest - you know you want to! I don’t understand some of the negative feedback Chalkys get - I have never had any problem and would absolutely recommend them. I bought a Roksan Attessa in the sales and thought I would christen it with a new LP and well it just had to be Dark Side of the Moon.
