About this deal
Our range of dot to dot books for adults is designed to help you rediscover that joy and provide hours of calming, screen-free entertainment. We do recommend using a pencil for drawing the dots to allow for a neater line and also any corrections that may need to be made. If you are using a very simple design, you could use some of the fancy stitches available on your sewing machine (e.

Other themed Dot-to-Dot activity packs include "Gardening" (product code 56027) and "Pets" (product code 56028).
The content was chosen with intentionally simple, easy to recognise and age appropriate images, based around different popular group activity themes to start meaningful conversation, discussion and prompt memory. The dot will be shown exclusively on it's own so as to not spoil the surprise of the finished image. This removes any ambiguity that can occur from having dots in different places relative to their numbers in the same puzzle, so by checking the position of a dot relative to a number it is always possible to work out which dot goes with each number throughout the book. We carefully created images and sized the dots and numbers as large as we could without detracting from the design, with the intention that these should be accessible for users with visual impairment. When you've finished stitching the picture, mount it on another piece of card folded in half to make a greeting card. Why not use the finished dot to dot as the basis for an extended art/colouring/multi-sensory activity session by introducing paint, pastels, or collage the finished piece with rice, feathers, cut out magazines etc? Take a moment for yourself as you patiently join each dot to the next, to eventually reveal the image hidden inside. Thus if you decide to colour in a puzzle once finished, pen marks going through to the other side of the page won't affect any other puzzle.
However, even with that many dots on a page, we’ve worked hard to ensure we are consistent with the position of every single dot in this book from start to finish: the dot is always positioned to the left of each number. The different themes include seasons, special occasions, animals, medieval, outer space, pirates, sports, and more. And with those, you need a good amount of imagination to see how you can get the picture out of the star points! The sheets have carefully created images and dot sizes with numbers as large as we could make them without detracting from the design, with the intention that these should be accessible for users with visual impairment. These activity sheets are great for young children who are just learning their numbers by beginning counting and single-digit number recognition.Based around specific themes, these are an interesting alternative to other icebreaking or conversation starting activities, and lovely for those who say they aren’t creative – create a picture from following numbers!
